"Hey everyone," said Miles, wearing a decent enough outfit for Mardi Gras, "Today we'll be looking at how some animal species 'stand out' at a time like Mardi Gras."

There was no doubt that the most popular segment was Miles' coverage of the Mardi Gras party at the Meat Market, even though Miles' coverage didn't get any 'dancing' recorded. Some of the things he did record during his time there more than made up for it, as some thought in the comments.
"So, what was one of the stupidest things you've seen people do here while partying?" Mile asked Shyra, who was wearing a sequined dress in purple, green, and gold (in the spirit of Mardi Gras) with an eye-popping cleavage window.
"People who attempt to drink a flaming shot of alcohol while it's still burning." Answered Shyra, smiling while also rolling her eyes and shaking her head.

"Because Valentine's Day and Ash Wednesday are going to be on the same day this year," said Miles as he entered into an arts-and-crafts class at Claw Coliseum, where several young children (both human and Animalian) were doing Valentine-themed arts and crafts, "the 'naughtier' aspects that usually happen will be delayed until Thursday."
"Whoops! Uh, ma'am?" said one, unusually older, guy with his face pressed into the table and several glue-sticks nearby. "I think I glued my face to the table."
"Not to worry," reassured Elly (deliberately thickening her Russian Accent), who was briefly supervising the class, and the Animalian Miles was supposed to interview, as she went over to get said guy "un-glued" from the table, "He just village idiot."

Miles' interview with Elly, later, was about progress of Animalia's newest, "Russian", district. As usual, the paranoiacs and xenophobes began ranting, but these were generally ignored, causing them to fizzle out.
A similar interview was with Lady Zhen, but because she was wearing a purple, green, and gold kimono decorated with matching feathers, she somehow attracted a drunk sleaze over to her who called her a "feathered snake goddess". Fortunately, he was so plastered that Lady Zhen didn't need to do much other than hiss and bear her fangs to make him pass out 'from fear'. Afterwards, APD carted him off to the "drunk tank", but not before Zhen doodled on his face.

"While Mardi Gras and Valentine's Day will be the main focus in the West," said Miles, wrapping up the special episode. "The 2024 Year of the Dragon Competitions will the main focus for Heiya Island, but because of the time zone differences, you're going to have to wait until late at night to watch the first few competitions 'live'."
