(authors note: this will be a lot like my 'a furry winter' story line except it will take place in spring. The only main rule after this chapter is that it must happen in spring. this is also the setup so it's much shorter than normal.)
spring is a magical time. plants gain more color and people can ditch their winter coats. That's not to mention the holidays held within this season. People fly kites and have picnics when they aren't in school that is. however, something happened in a city part of America that made the season more enchanted.
the time of spring that it happened is unknown exactly at the time. could it happen on Easter with bunnies and eggs? could a mythical creature have been awoken by warmer weather? could the animals be wanting some love after a winter sleep? Could the produce of the season be tainted by magic?
there might be something in the air or a young person may have found something while spring cleaning. a particularly magical flower may bloom. a nymph may seek to stop someone from cutting down their tree by placing a spell on them. someone on a jog might see something buried in the ground. an anthro animal may climb through a window you left open. regardless of how it started or when it would change this season into something truly magical.

the city of Fonsville would be the first hit. A teen was entering the park for their spring festival. out of all the seasons, spring was the biggest for this place. perhaps it was because the city was named after the season by Sir Marcus when he founded it. Regardless the teen had been coming here with their family since they moved here four years ago.
As they passed the concision stands they saw the Ferris wheel. they loved seeing the fair from up there so they went towards it. Suddenly something caught their attention. turning their head to the right they gasped as they saw...
