Amanda arrived at her Highschool Reunion. At the door she saw a table with a man at it & he asked her name & other details. She gave them. She was then given a plastic picture ID with her name on it attached to a black cord & instructed to wear it around her neck. Amanda did as instructed. The picture on the ID was her old Student ID picture. She then entered the gym. She saw a drinks table, the Class of 2027 banner & various people & anthromorphic animals around; talking, drinking & the like. Just then she heard a slightly familiar sounding male voice yelling her name. Amanda turned towards the voice & nearly pissed herself from shock. It was an anthromorphic spider. It about 6 ft, grey in color, had 2 legs, 6 arms, 3 digits on it's hands & 3 toes on it's feet; all that ended in points & of course it was naked. Well it did have the photo ID on the black cord around it's neck. "Do you remember me Amanda? I know I have changed obviously." The spider said to Amanda. The voice did sound familiar to her...but she couldn't place it. The spider grabbed it's ID with one of it's hands & held it out. Amanda looked at the ID & her jaw nearly hit the floor in shock. "You're Maxwell?!" The spider nodded with a "In the furred exoskeleton." Amanda asked very shocked & confused "Why did you turn yourself into....this?" The spider revealed to Maxwell answered "Because spiders are so cool." Amanda said a little too loudly "I don't agree." Maxwell said as he gestured for her to follow him "Let me show you." Amanda reluctantly followed. Maxwell soon stopped at a wall with an empty table near it. Maxwell then stuck 2 hands to the wall followed by his other 6 hands followed by his feet. That's when Amanda realized something. "Those aren't feet. They are hands. You got 8 hands." She stated aloud. "Actually you're wrong. I got 8 feet. They are just dexterous enough to use as hands. And technically I'm 8 legged. Just I can use my legs as arms; as I do 6 of them." Maxwell explained. He then shifted his arms & legs around & went up the wall; fast. "Damn you quick." Amanda stated surprised. Soon Maxwell's ID on the cord dropped from above & landed on the table. He then descended down from the ceiling head first on a web coming out of his abdomen which he guiding with his feet. He stopped just half a foot from the table top & asked kinda smug crossing his arms hanging there "Isn't this cool?" Amanda had to admit "Yeah." Being more smug Maxwell went on "And there much more cool things about spiders." Amanda questioned realizing it "Isn't being upside down giving you a head rush?" Maxwell actually chuckled to that uncrossing his arms "No. Spiders don't get head rushs. We can be upside down for days & suffer no ill effects." Amanda then asked "Are you sure you hanging like that is safe?" Maxwell answered "Totally. You'd be surprised how much I actually weight. I'm pretty light now." Amanda's next question was "How you keeping the web you making from getting stuck to your feet?" He answered "My web won't stick to me at all. But it does to everything else." Amanda asked curious "Aren't you uncomfortable like that?" Maxwell answered "No. Not at all. I'm actually quite comfortable." Amanda finally sat at the table, across from Maxwell. "What gender are you? You sound male but I can't tell by looking what gender you are." Amanda questioned. "I am quite male. I know it's impossible to tell what gender we insects are. And before you ask I am naked because one I have no exposed gender & two clothes are impossible for me to wear now because of my abdomen & shit; & just gets in my way." Amanda nodded seeing his points. Amanda then asked again "But why turn yourself into an anthromorphic spider?" Maxwell responded "Spiders are so cool." Amanda said unsure of that "I don't know about that." Maxwell said with a chuckle "Before this reunion is over I will convince you we are. And you may then want to be a spider just like me." Amanda looked at his total spider head; the 6 deep blue orbs that are his eyes, the no nose, visible ears & black mandibles instead of a mouth. Amanda said "I don't think so Maxwell." The anthromorphic spider gave another chuckle stating "We saw see."
