while group secrets are rare they can happen. said secrets have two types. first is the harmony secrets. these happen when the secret is connected to all the members of the group. in this case, only they can know about the secret. if anyone outside the secret group finds out then it becomes permanent like a normal secret.
the second is the discord secret. this is where even the members of the group can not know each other's secrets lest they become permanent. this would work if someone made the connection of a change. in that case, the one whose second was found out would be the one whose change would become permanent. these changes could be identical, similar, opposite, or have nothing in common.
while rare they become more common if the people share genetics or are close to each other around the time of change. as a result, more than a few families have befallen this fate. the one thing to note about secrets is nothing is off the table.
