"What's happening to me?" she cried, in shock of the changes to her legs. "How is this possible? How is the curse real?!"
While she held her hands to her mouth in surprise, she felt one stick to her. Her left arm wasn't pulling away from her face, despite her best efforts. Finally, with a pop, it separated.
"Ow!" she cried. She gasped when she saw what had happened to her hand...if she could even call it that any longer.
Her fingers had completely merged into an amorphous shape that resembled a human hand wrapped in latex. A line of small suction cups were growing from the palm and ran up the inside of her arm. The skin had turned a gray-blue. As she continued to watch, the shape of her hand and arm smoothed out and became less defined. The bones inside of them dissolved, leaving her with a large tentacle for an arm!
Scared, Jennifer began to back up on her inhuman legs. She bumped into the wall behind her, and something near her butt sent a shockwave of pain up her spine. She screamed again, turning around to watch as a large black tail grew from her back. It puffed out quite wide, with two white stripes running its length and merging to a point at its tip. It had pushed her skirt down her buttocks as it grew, and Jennifer could see that under her skirt, black fur was spreading all the way to the top of her knees, where it yielded to the yellow skin of her right talon and the tiger stripes of her left hind paw. Soon her skunk tail had grow so large she could lift it up to the top of her head with its tip arced slightly downward.
As she felt the soft fur with her right hand, she noticed that was changing as well. Her fingers grew hard and dark, and she was no longer able to move them. They melted together, the pinky with the ring finger and the index with the middle. Her thumb shrank and moved up her arm as her hoof completed itself. Her arm sprouted coarse fur in thin stripes of black and white. The fur grew all the way to her shoulder as her arm thinned nearly to the bone. Her elbow cracked as the bone shifted its pivot, and now Jennifer could only bend her right arm directly outward in front of her body.
Not knowing where to go, not knowing what to do, Jennifer stood where she was, tears silently running down her face as she waited in fear for the next horrific change.
