As Jeff scanned the crowd, looking for a fun way to spend his night, it took a while for anyone or anything to really catch his eye. Sure there were groups having a good time dancing, drinking, doing more personal things amongst the deep shadows and flashing lights, but this was his first time in a place like this, and beyond wanting to get a feel for the atmosphere, what he really wanted would be better with a lone partner. Of those who seemed to be off on their own and looking for company, he couldn’t help but keep coming back to the large beast just a few tables over.
The burly man was fidgeting with his leather vest, as he tried his best to awkwardly keep his sheer size from taking up more space. Yet despite how uncomfortable he clearly was in the environment, he was clearly checking Jeff out when he thought he wasn’t looking. Jeff had to admit, the way that the man’s tail wagged every time he thought he could stare without getting caught cute in a dorky way. After all, the appreciation was part of the reason he spent so much time at the gym, so why deny someone who was clearly a fan. Walking over chest out, letting the straps of his leather harness show off every well defined muscle.
The other man’s jaw almost hit the floor as Jeff stopped at his booth, clearly taken aback in stunned silence as the white noise of the club filled the gap between them.
It was clear that Jeff was going to have to make the first and second move if he wanted any action.
“Hey there big guy, it’s clear you like the view from over here. I thought I’d come over and give you a closer look,” he smirked the other man’s eyes instantly magnified to his flexing pecs before a bright shade of crimson flushed his new friend’s face, ears flattering as if preparing to get scolded.
“S-Sorry … this is my first time in a place like this. I'm not sure what’s okay here. If I crossed some sort of line, I can pay for a drink or something.” He was clearly treating Jeff’s attempts to flirt as a trap best to be avoided, scrambling to cover for some non-existent mistake. His voice was deep and rich, with a gravely growl that became more pronounced with his heightened emotions. His hands were constantly between his vest his mane of wild hair and his jeans as he fidgeted out of a mixture of excitement and anxiety.
“Hey, while I am never one to turn down a free drink, you don’t gotta worry about upsetting people. Based off what I can see going on on the dance floor right now I don’t think people watching is a high concern,” Jeff chuckled as he watched the frenzy of bodies moving in time with the loud bass.
“And besides,” Jeff said, turning back to the beast man. “You’re not the only one who likes what he sees.”
“Thanks.”
The man’s nose was almost completely crimson due to the rush of blood and hormones at that last comment. He almost barked as he forced out the word. His tail thrashing against the vinyl seat not allowing for any secrets.
“I’m Jeff,” he smiled warmly, almost softly, knowing the beast man’s hearing would make up the difference.
“Axel.” The beast managed after a moment's hesitation.
“Promise you won’t faint if I have a seat and get a comfortable, big guy? I’m not into the whole dance scene myself. And tou seem like fun to spend time with.”
“I’ll do my best.” Axel mumbled clearly excited but neither realizing what ‘getting comfortable’ would entail for the sake of the agreement. After all, both men were pretty big and trying to fit both of them in the tight booths would have been a challenge. So when Jeff moved to sit, it only made sense to use Axel’s lap as he leaned back into the beastman’s fuzzy cushioning. His new companion growing taller, well past six feet along with a noticeable amount of muscle and fat, turning the large man even more barrel-like filling out his back and front so that he could support Jeff’s own bulk pound after pound making everything ferm as a rock with just enough stuffing that he could lean back and relax.
“Now we can really get to know each other,” Jeff mused as he stroked Axel’s tail absentmindedly.
