"Uh, dare!" Jennifer says hurridly.
"Ha ha! All right! I dare you to bark like a dog!" says Kyle.
From within her Jennifer could feel a weird stirring sensation, almost like a sneeze, that she could not help but respond to with absolution. Her entire being gave itself over to the want to bark, and bark she did. She barked at length for a good twenty seconds, and much as she wanted to stop, she simply couldn't. Even as she was doing it, she could hear Kyle laughing to himself, and in the background of the phonecall, there were others laughing, too. They were all getting kicks from turning her into this foolish display.
Eventually the sensation subsided, and she stopped barking. Still laughing on the other end of the phone, Kyle and his friends weren't laughing quite as hard. Then Kyle spoke again.
"I've got to say, fair play for playing along. I thought you were just going to tell me to piss off!" he said.
It seemed he thought she had been joking. Only, she knew better, and now she had the power.
"Kyle," she said, a dark grin creeping onto her face. "Transform or Dare?"
