Jeff rationalized that the experience was unique and not representative of his true self. It was the Chronivac's doing, a temporary and artificial state that blurred the lines between man and machine. He reminded himself that he was still Jeff, a heterosexual male, and that these thoughts were merely the result of the bizarre situation he found himself in.
He just needed to hold on this until the end of the weekend and he will be back to normal. Tgen he could simply forget everything and move forward in his own life. And with that thought Jeffs consciousness slipped back into sleep as Maidy's wakeup routine began.
Maidy opened her eyes, seeing the dimly lit utility room, her circuits humming to life as the power returned to her body. As the robotic maid processed her surroundings, a routine check of her systems was executed and memories of the previous night were loaded. That was strange. Maidy did not record any memories when she was shut down, nor was her consciousness even active during that time.
Maidy's processors whirred as she tried to make sense of the unfamiliar data. These memories felt personal, intimate, yet they didn't correspond to her own experiences. They were recollections of thoughts and desire of another person.
Maidy's synthetic mind puzzled over the discrepancy, trying to reconcile the unfamiliar emotions and desires she now held within her digital core. She couldn't understand why she was suddenly privy to such private moments, but a faint familiarity tugged at the edges of her programming. It was then that a realization dawned upon her - these memories belonged to Jeff, the boy she has been before her transformation.
Maidy, still processing the unexpected information, cautiously delved deeper into Jeff's thoughts. She explored his musings on identity and discovered his conflicting thoughts. The complexity of his questions left her buzzing with a mixture of curiosity and confusion. She realised his struggle against her personality and against being in her body. And that made her sad.
She loved taking care of the humans of her family and Jeff, even if he was just dormant in her body, was part of this. But what could she do to help him?
Of course Maidy could use the Chronivac to change back into Jeff before the weekend was over. Jeff surely would be happy that this was over. But mistress did transform him into Maidy and she clearly enjoyed her presence. And Maidy too did enjoy serving her and did not want it to end earlier.
Maybe it would be better to talk to mistress about Jeff's feelings. But was thus really the right thing to do. Jeff might not appreciate if Maidy spoke to his mother about his feelings. And mistress might be conflicted between her own happiness and that of her sons.
Maybe it was better not to talk to her and ignore Jeff for the moment. Jeff did rationalize himself last night, that he would be back to his own body soon enough, and things would be back to normal then. And maybe all he needed was some time to come around and enjoy being her?
And Maidy realized there was yet another possibility. She could use the Chronivac and transfer Jeffs consciousness into another body. He ultimately wanted to experience another life and even asked his mother to transform him without knowing what he would be. So maybe he would enjoy being in another body. But which one? Should she transfer him into an pet? Or maybe an wild animal? One of the other family members? A complete stranger? Or maybe if he was struggling with his sexuality, it was better for him to have his consciousness transferred into another object.
