Your stomach began to churn unpleasantly as it digested whatever gruel you had been force-fed by the Minotaur, or perhaps that and a combination of sheer nerves. It was an indiscernibly course texture, like stale porridge with a smiley, sticky core that only conjured implications of something rotten. It's taste, as you first described, was worst than that. You should've gaged, but despite it's unpleasant nature, you could swallow the substance with ease.
“Now, I suppose it’s time you know what your job is,” the Minotaur began with a low, grinning grumble.
You stopped eating, somewhat surprised by how horridly you had began to mindlessly consume the flow stuff. The Minitour seemed to pause for suspense, taking a moment to again eye the gruel he'd forced you to eat.
"You're going to be my protégé." He clasped his hands together adamantly.
You paused, blinking glumly with confusion. What did he mean? You looked over his massive form, beyond the scale any human body builder and obviously beyond yours no matter how many weights you lifted.
"Pardon?" You said, half whispering.
"'Pardon?' Ha! You're a nervous little thing. That's alright. All you need to become is strong like me, and nobody will bother you even with those nerves!"
The Minotaur allowed another laugh, meanwhile your body suddenly was swept by hot and cold flashes. You shivered, both from brief flashes of cold and a twinge sparking across your nervous system. The Minotaur unlocked the cage with a laugh and yanked you out. You collapsed onto the floor with a thud, but were already too dazed to care at the rough collision. You wouldn't even be able to tell if you'd scrapped your knee, but slowly the world settled somewhat and the Minotaur simply stood where he was and waited.
"We've got plenty of training to do, and some physical rearrangements to settle, but we've got to start somewhere."
You suddenly felt incredibly hot.
