After a week of Zach being trapped in his own body, having to endure the embarrassment of his mom trying her best to act like him but failing spectacularly, even at school and soccer practice. It seemed that Maddie was happy with the punishment and ready to end things, satisfied that a week was long enough for Zach to learn his lesson, that night while brushing her son’s teeth, Maddie told him in the mirror that she was going to stop possessing him soon, and that while she was having fun being a teenage boy, she was ready to be herself again, and especially missed the alone time with her husband. Zach was beyond excited to finally get his body back, but also slightly grossed out as his mom unintentionally forces him to remember his forced intimacy with his own father just a few days ago, which luckily Maddie seemed keen on not repeating. Maddie finished up getting ready for bed and finally drifted off to sleep in her son’s body for what she thought would be the last time.
The next day Zach’s eyes opened up and he was so excited to finally have his body back, his mind raced with so many ideas of what to do once he regained control. He heard his own voice speak.
“Morning sweetie, ready to be you again?”
Maddie couldn’t hear Zach answer but could feel the excitement within his mind.
“I’ll take that as a yes~”
Maddie smirked with her son’s mouth and started the process of exiting his body, Zach could feel it, the sensation of their souls separating of his mother’s body reforming, however something went wrong, at the last second the feeling vanished, he felt his mother’s body and soul sucked back inside of him, what little control he regained was gone again. Maddie furrowed her son’s brow and looked confused.
“Huh… that’s never happened before… let me try that again, maybe I’m just rusty from not using my powers for so long.”
A week was a pretty long time for member’s of Zach’s family to go without using their powers, so Zach patiently waited as his mom tried again, though the results were the same, he felt free for a few seconds only for her to wind up back in control, she tried again, and again, but no matter what, nothing worked.
“Well this isn’t good… Zach… I think we might be stuck like this…”
If Zach still had control of his heart it would’ve stopped. The hell he had just gone through over the previous week was permanent?! He wanted to cry, but he didn’t really have a body to do so, he could only cry inside his own mind as he watched his mother scramble for what to do in his body.
