A few minutes later, “Jeff” is walking through the bustling city, whistling a tune and his hands in his pockets, ‘this sure is different than that fake life I had,’ the Fox in disguise thinks to himself, ‘the people in this reality seem to be so stressed, always in a hurry, hehe… oh, I can help them relax. Hmm… what’s this? A toy store… hm… hehe… this will do nicely’. “Jeff” enters the store and looks around, the store is packed with all kinds of toys in various forms and sizes, from plush toys to puppets, from small vehicles to models of houses.
The Fox grins to himself, ‘hehe… perfect, now to find the suitable “predator”, aah there we are… perfect,’ he thinks to himself, picking up a monkey ventriloquist doll, then sneaks to a secluded area of the store. Once alone with the dummy, the “teen” grins and his hand starts to glow, when he touches the monkey it to begins to glow, and when the glowing fades the monkey’s eyes blink and it looks around in confusion.
“Wh… what,” he asks.
“Hehe… welcome to life, my friend,” the “teen” whispers.
“What the… y-you are the cause for this,” the monkey asks.
“I sure am,” Astral says, he then explains everything to the dummy, and with each word the Monkey’s muzzle curls more and more into a mischievous grin.
“THAT does sound like fun,” the dummy giggles, “sure… I’ll help you making this city a little more interesting”.
“Jeff” grins, “perfect,” he says, “now, time I put you back on your shelve. Hehe… I’m sure it won’t take long for you to find your first “prey” to have some fun with”.
“It would be more fun, if there were some “hero” who’d try to stop us, intervene in our plans and simply just be a silly “party-pooper”!”
Astral chuckles as he slowly walks back to where he had taken the dummy from the shelve, “I was thinking about that,” he whispers, “I too think it would be more fun, but I want to still create a few more predators before creating a “hero” or two”. The Fox puts the Monkey back on the shelve, “have fun, my friend,” he says, winking.
“I will, and thanks for creating me,” the Monkey says, winking back before going rigid.
Grinning to himself, “Jeff” leaves the store, “now, where to next,” he asks himself, looking around, “hm… I think the museum would be a great place for “predator number three”. Hehe…,” and with that he’s on his way to the local history and science museum.
