Kim decides to copy the program over to his phone, so he quickly takes out his phone and activates his Bluetooth, he then selects Jeff’s Laptop and scrolls through the programs until he finds “The Chronivac”. After selecting the program, the boy is asked if the copy should be linked to the original or to be independent, ‘hm… if this really should work,’ he thinks to himself, ‘I’d prefer not to have Jeff be able to change anything’.
After the program is copied over, an App with a large “C” and a blue background appears on Kim’s phone, Kim quickly closes the Bluetooth window and hurries into his room, closing the door behind him, just as the bathroom door opens, ‘that was close,’ he thinks to himself as he hears Jeff walking into his room and the door closing.
Kim sits down on his bed and opens the App, “okay, so first, I need to scan myself,” the boy activates the scanner and yelps when a red light suddenly shoots from his camera, the beam of light moves down his body then back up, it then vanishes and a message appears “scan successful”.
The 10-year-old opens the “files” tab, his eyes widen when he sees two files, one with his name and one with Jeff’s, the boy grins, ‘hehe… if this is no BS, I already have some ideas what to do with Jeff,’ he thinks to himself, ‘and since it’s its own program, Jeff won’t notice anything and he won’t be able to fix whatever I changed, but first!’
Kim opens his file and reads through his stats, his eyes widen and he blushes, “man… this thing knows everything about me! Even stuff I’d never tell anyone, not even my closest friends,” he says to himself. After a while, Kim decides to change the color of his hair as a test, so he erases the word “black” and replaces it with “blue”. The boy is about to confirm the change when he hesitates, turning his head to look at his reflection in his mirror, the boy frowns. “You know, I think I’ll make my hair a little longer,” he mumbles to himself, “having the same style as my brother is boooooring. Hm… I think just past my ears would be long enough, and it should still look boyish enough,” so that is what he does, finally satisfied, Kim confirms the change.
The boy shivers when a pins-and-needles sensation runs through his body, “according to the manual, that sensation means a change is about to happen,” he says to himself, quickly getting to his feet and hurrying to his mirror. Kim’s eyes widen when he watches as his black hair slowly changes color, soon the boy’s hair have changed into a beautiful light blue, “no freaking way,” he breaths in disbelief. Kim watches his hair then grow, stopping just past his ears, this causes the boy to look even more like a girl, but Kim continues to tell himself that it’s far to short to look “girly” and that it’s still a “boyish” hairstyle, even though his hair is smooth, causing Kim to have a really girly-type style, even his bangs have taken on a more girly-like appearance.
After the shock has subsided, Kim grins, “so cool! I honestly like my new hair color and style, it suits me, and it does not look at all girly! I think I’ll keep it this way,” the boy walks back to his bed and picks up his phone. Kim changes the previous change from one hour to permanent and activates the reality change so that everyone thinks he had always blue hair.
Kim grins, “now, what should I do,” he asks himself, “I could change something else about me, or I could have some fun with my stupid brother Jeff. Hehe… maybe it should be his turn to be the “little brother”… or… hehe… I always wanted a pet dog! Hehe… hm… come to think of it… all my pals have girlfriends… hehe! Oh! So MANY ideas… so little time… hehe!”
The 10-year-old suddenly frowns, “you know… I better give myself some protection,” he mumbles to himself, “knowing Jeff… he might just decide to do something to me,” so with a few taps, Kim causes himself to be immune to the Chronivac on Jeff’s Laptop, not knowing if there might be other Chronivacs out there.
