Jake stared at the clothes in confusion, the strong sedatives he was given not yet releasing him from their grasp. Lifting a jockstrap from the bin he turned it over not yet piecing together what he was looking at, his stupefied delay unknowingly selecting his transformer. The bin silently slid shut and once he slowly came to recognize what he was looking at the room was once again a featureless white cube.
Jake turned back to the table he had been laying on to find it had disappeared adding to his disorientation. He had been been exploring the downtown area of a nearby town, was he in an accident? Is this a hospital? "huh woo?" he managed to weakly sputter. It was supposed to be 'hello?' but coordinating his brain and mouth were a challenge.
A white chair rose from the floor seeming to assemble itself from nothing. Jake, seeing this, was left somewhere between "I'm dead.", "I'm dreaming.", and "Oh how nice, someone got a chair for me." leading him to yell, giggle, and then sit in the chair.
A mile or two away, the 7 loosing contestants who do not get to orchestrate their desired transformations upon this host hemmed and hawed at the indignity of needing to wait. They were ushered into another room, assured their day will come, but in the mean time they may up their chances of being chosen by reducing the articles of clothing offered, for a non refundable fee. "Everyone must agree as all people experiencing the reduced competition would be benefitting from higher chances... Please discuss amongst yourselves and review our pricing schedule."
As the losers were adjusting, the winner was lead down a series of long corridors and welcomed into an unmarked door. Within was a warm and expansive room filled with countless monitors and teeming with people in lab coats. On a large screen in the center of the room showed Jake staring blissfully at nothing and surrounding screens that were monitoring his vitals. "Congratulations winner. This room and team of scientists are yours for the next 6 hours, you will be given your subject to do with as you please once the six hours are up or you are satisfied. Enjoy. I will leave you in the capable hands of Mr. PJ to orient you to the tools and teams." with that the guide left.
"Hello, I am Mr. PJ, we have a wealth of tools to transform the subject both mentally and physically. You were given a program in advance to customize your desired outcome, and we should let the computer begin processing the variances and breaking down the steps that need to be applied. While that is happening I will tell you about what you will be working with. The room can create a table, or a chair, at any location, including underneath the subject. Gas vents can be used to sedate or as a vector to activate transformations. Laser beams are available for visual effect. The subject has been augmented with nano robots, they will perform the transformations. The table and chair can restrain the subject, also, if the subject doesn't carry enough mass to meet your desired outcome, the table or chair can supply the subject's body with more material via injection. We can safely turn a 45 lb toddler into a 30 year old 350lb body builder, Harvard graduate lawyer, or vice versa in the allotted timeframe, the point is not to rush big changes."
