“Actually,” the “lizard” says, “I do have a request… as I said: we lizards only live 10 to 15 years, which, in my opinion, is far too short”.
“You are asking me if I could change your life span to that of a human,” Tyrone asks.
“Well… almost,” Claws replies, “I would prefer to be immortal, live forever”.
Tyrone looks surprised, “why would you want to live forever,” he asks, “I mean, wouldn’t it be boring?”
Claws chuckles, “nah, I just enjoy life to much and I just don’t want it to end,” he says, “so, please, could you do that for me?”
Tyrone is silent, thinking it over.
Claws patiently waits for Tyrone to decide, ‘if he should decide to do it, there is only one option to cause me to be immortal, and that is to make me a god,’ the lizard thinks to himself, ‘and gods have magical powers! With such powers, I could fix this world, make it a better place!’
Tyrone is looking down at his phone, unaware of his “friend’s” thoughts, ‘the only way to give him what he wants is to make him a god,’ the boy thinks to himself, ‘though, that would give him unbelievable powers, which have no limits. I’m unsure if this would really be a wise thing to do’. The 10-year-old looks at Claws, then back at his phone, ‘I don’t think he’ll use the powers for evil, so… I guess there is no harm in giving him what he wants,’ he thinks to himself, “okay, Claws, let’s make you immortal,” he then says, starting to type into his phone.
Claws grins, which Tyrone doesn’t notice, due to the lizard seeming to grin non-stop, caused by the way his jaw is formed, ‘hehe… my plan is taking form,’ he thinks to himself, ‘don’t worry, Tyrone, you’ll enjoy your new life! I’ll make sure of that!’
The lizard the feels the familiar tingling run through his body, and he feels a huge power seeming to raise inside of him, ‘I feel so powerful,’ he thinks to himself, ‘hehe… nothing and no one will ever going to stop me!’
“Did… did it work,” Tyrone asks.
Claws looks up at Tyrone, “I do feel different,” he says, “only one way to find out!”
