Few things are as universally dreaded for all ages than the end of summer vacation. And there seems to precious less of it these days as more schools were adopting a new schedule that made summer break shorter in exchange for fall, winter, and spring breaks being 2 weeks long. And that wasn't including the snow days and sick days. But inevitably, everyone had to start the next year of school and WSA was no different.

Polly sighed and tried to steel herself as she looked at the front doors of the Worldwide School of Animalia. This wasn't the first time she had been through these doors, but before, she had went to the areas meant for elementary and middle school kids. Now she was going to the area meant for high school teens. She would also be entering as a double-dosed for the first time. Polly had the whole summer to get used to her new body, but even now, her height made everything surreal. Her parents had assured her that WSA's facilities were equipped to handle Animalians of all sizes, even unusually large polar bears like herself. Eventually, Polly sighed and said, "Let's get this over with."
Walking through the front doors wasn't too different. They had giraffes and elephants in mind when they designed this school so there was plenty of headspace. As Polly walked over to the bulletin board to see where her homeroom would, she noticed several other students looking at her with various levels of amazement. And Polly could hardly blame them. Not only had her second dose made her taller than the average polar bear, she was considerably more muscular than the average female. That combined with a pair of gigantic breasts and amazonian curves made Polly quite a titaness, even by Animalian standards. The dress code at WSA was relatively lax, though Polly wore jean shorts and a tank top. She could recall when she went out in public in her new bikini. That had caused quite a stir.
"Girl, you show up on the first day of high school and you come wearing that?" Polly grinned at the sound of the familiar voice. She turned and looked down to see her best friend, Mattie. Mattie was probably the most interesting girl of her age that she ever met that was still human. She prided herself on being half-black, though not in the usual way. Her father's father is while her mother's mother is Dominican. As far as Mattie was concerned, she could act as white, black, or Hispanic as she wanted. The two of them had met when Polly had started going to WSA and had been best friends since then.
"Mattie, did you see if we got the same homeroom?" asked Polly.
"Yep, I checked and we did," said Mattie, "Come on, I'll show you which one. Just watch your head."
Polly chuckled and said, "That joke never gets old."
"Well, you need to watch out a lot more now," said Mattie as they walked, "You're a giantess now."
"I'm still the same girl inside," said Polly.
"Uh-uh, time to stop thinking yourself as a girl," said Mattie, "You're a woman and a whole lotta woman at that."
"It's a hard habit to break," admitted Polly.
"You had all summer break to break it," said Mattie, "Your big sis had to have helped you with that."
"Well, Marci was kinda busy," said Polly.
"You jealous she got married?" asked Mattie.
"To Chilly? No. I always saw him as a brother anyways," said Polly.
"Well, you won't have any trouble finding any boys here," said Mattie.
"Maybe, but I've got other goals right now," said Polly.
"Like what?" asked Mattie.
"Well, you know that a lot of Animalia Ambassadoria members are either graduated or graduating after this year, right?" asked Polly.
"Yeah...wait, you're gonna audition?" asked Mattie.
"Wouldn't it be great?" asked Polly.
"Well, they'll need an extra-extra wide lens for you," said Mattie.
"You could sign up too," said Polly.
"I guess, though would it mean I get to double-dose like you?" asked Mattie.
"You're still on that?" asked Polly.
"Why shouldn't I be? I mean, look at you," said Mattie.
"I'm an irregular case," said Polly, "If Jeremy had let me convert the normal way, I would have become a normal-sized adult bear later."
"And you make it work," said Mattie, "But my parents still say I shouldn't rush it."
"Have you even decided what kind of Animalian you'd want to be?" asked Polly.
"I'm narrowing it down," said Mattie.
Polly gave a small sigh. Mattie was the one human in her group of friends. She had been pushing for conversion for years and her parents might have consented if she wasn't wanting a double-dose as well. Well, maybe high school will finally wear her down or them down. Polly just wanted to have as good a time as her sister did.
