Mitch and David looked at the chortling owner of the store. Even though the magic of the Daddy Dimension made them feel rather reassured in the big man's presence, they were still confused by their new state and took fright. Luckily for them - or not- Mitch snapped out of his state long enough to grab David's hands and rush towards the exit. They dashed out of the store, followed by the shouts of the store-owner who hollered that the boys had stolen clothes and that these boys were his. Panting heavily, more than he would normally have in his previous state, Mitch dragged along his friend, avoiding the very curious stares of the men and boys all around the mall. He hid behind a trash can and lush and large potted plants as far away from the store they had just robbed and caught his breath, David slumped beside him just as he was.
"Why... Why did you do that?" David whispered, out of breath. "That guy sounded really nice... Heck, we could have had free stuff or he could have shown us really cool exclusive items. Still in mint condition!"
"David!" said Mitch angrily. "We're security guards, remember?!!? Not dorky kids! Snap out of it!"
Surprised by his outburst, David blinked owlishly but then frowned, remembering something indeed. He then gasped, utterly appalled at his own reaction.
"Damn, you're right! I... I don't know what went into me! Thank God you were here!"
"It's okay," sighed Mitch. Now we have to find a way back to this elevator. Maybe if we use it we can grow back and go home."
David nodded at the idea.
