“And that isn’t all!” yelled a man dressed as a medieval court jester his multiple pointed hair making noise as he did a little dance up on the fake gate house which was used as the entrance to the Mythical Renaissance Festival. Before him was a massive coward of people all waiting for the gates to open and to spend their day and more importantly to him and the other workers their money at the fair.
“We have multiple new experience just for you!” he yelled
“Meet a Mermaid at Mermaid’s cove!” yelled a women dressed as a mermaid who was sitting on the wall, her tail off the edge for all to see.
“Walk among the flower guardians with Fairies!” yelled another women in a fairy outfit
“Dare the castle of the damned.” Hissed a man in a classic Vampire outfit.
“And others.” Said the court jester, there was supposed to be one other major addition but he didn’t mention that since it wasn’t done yet.
“Wait….” Yelled someone off script as a man dressed in a pair of tights came running from the tower where the ladder leading down to the ground was hidden. He wasn’t supposed to be her so even the workers stopped and looked at him. “I bring news!”
He ran forward and whispered into the Jester’s ear.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, Lords and Ladies good news.” Said the Jester thinking on his feet. “The cargo ship carrying the last items for the were-creature woods came in and our skilled craftsman are adding the final touches, and it will open this afternoon!”
There was a roar from the crowd.
“So, if you want, dare to explore the woods full of half human, half animal monsters...just be sure to not get bit.” Laughed Jester before moving on to the rest of the script.
Near the back of the Fair in an area full of think oaks and tall pines a crew was hard at work. Netting had been hung from between the trees making the already shaded path even darker.
The fog machines are up and running.” Said one worker as the main worker nodded his head as a low amount of fog began to move between the trees.
“Good, lets see the first artwork.” Said the main worker as he walked up the path and turned the corner, there in the distance was a image of a man bleeding from a shoulder room, he walked around a bend in the path only to get a side view of the man. The man had changed, one of his arms was now much larger and covered with fur and tipped with claws. He moved around and saw the next panel was the man now fully a werewolf howling up at the sky.
“Good.” Said the worker as he walked off the path toward the artwork, it was actually a box, each side showing different images of the same man transforming into a werewolf by walking around one could watch him change. “And the others are in place?”
“Yes, a werecat, a lizard man and others are all being set up now.” Confirmed the worker.
“Good, so this is ready.” Said the main worker “Once everyone is done open it up and let them in.”
