The semi-truck backed up to a loading dock which in truth was attached to a very small warehouse. Behind it however were multiple wooden and brick buildings, the entire area was alive with people moving in items from personal trucks and vans which had been moved right up the to buildings and tents. The people were unloading their own items all the while others were setting up pieces of scenery or working on the stage shows.
“Got and order here for the Mythical Renaissance Festival.” Announced the driver to the worker running the loading dock. Mostly he was dealing with food, nonalcoholic drinks and a mountain of alcoholic drinks, so signing for set pieces was a little odd.
“These where suppose to arrive yesterday.” Complained another worker as they unloaded the art pieces.
“Not my fault, they are here before you open right?” inquired the driver
“By three hours!” Stated the worker as he looked at them, still their assigned areas where already set up all it would take was to hang them and make sure they where straight. Judging by how detailed the images where they were going to be a hit with people taking selfies with them. Some would also go where performers and volunteers would be dressed as those mythical creatures for meet and greets with guests, overall he understood why the owners of the fair got them. He was just more upset they didn't arrive sooner and now he would have to deal with that.
“Alright, get some teams and have them all up by the time they open the gate.” Said the main worker as crews came by to hang them up in the location.
By the time the gates where ready to open all of pieces of artwork were hanging up and ready for the thousands of people gathered outside ready to enjoy a day at the Renaissance Festival unaware for some of them it would be their last day as humans.
