The six youths did not hear the music. Or rather, not fully. Not consciously. Instead, the music reached their subconscious, softly enthralling them and reaching the depths of their souls. They barely heard the soft tunes that searched their very souls. The music searched for what these youths were. For what they desired and what they needed. The transformations would act upon what best suited them. Whether mythological creatures or marine animals, all would be affected. As for their minds, well... It would all depends upon their character and what they would or could let go of their old lives and selves. Entire new existences awaited the six youths, all in the rhythm of this incredible, magical, tropical planet. The seas and oceans would be at the center of their world now.
At the notes of the magical music, all moaned softly. All were enthralled, captivated. Their clothes and accessories dissolved into sand, becoming part of the sea itself. All naked, they could become part of their new home fully. The magic of the song of the sea would keep them all slumbering while the transformations happed. The fire extinguished itself, vanishing is a wisp of dark smoke. The crabs raised their antennas, sensing the change in the air that the magic brought. All animals around sensed that the magic was at work and all went still, absorbed by the sweet senses of well-being it brought. The sea magic occurred rarely, but when it did, it felt like a blessing to all. And though it might be distressing at first, for the six sleepers it would eventually feel the same regarding their new lives: natural and comforting, a real ode to the beauty of the sea and of nature itself.
