As Josie walked off the stage, the audience began to move around. Monique and some of the other maids kept a watchful eye on her boxes. Some of the boys moved to girls in animal theme costumes, probably hoping to get themselves a new pet. Some girls cozied up to their boyfriends and gestured to the Bender Box talking excitedly. Maybe there would be a few role reversals in their relationships.
Speaking of which, she decided to check on Brad and Jessie. They were talking to each other and grinning, but Josie noticed they kept a respectful distance. She felt a quick thrill she pushed back down. It didn't matter if she was a now a girl, and why Brad alway had girls throw themselves at him suddenly made sense. She wasn't about to let her new anatomy dictate her choices.
As she approached, she dropped the bundle that was Rebecca's costume on a chair. "Well boys, did you enjoy the show?"
"It was amazing!" Brad exclaimed. "I can't believe my best friend is a girl now." Brad paused for a moment. "You are actually Joey right? Jessie spent a lot of time convincing me he wasn't just a guy pretending to be Jessica."
Josie waved a hand over herself. "I'm Joey, new and improve."
Brad smiled. "Cool. Looks good on you." Josie felt a slight blush at his words. "Though I have noticed your tricks seem to have left me without a girlfriend."
Josie placed her hands on her hips. "Sorry about that." She gave Jessie a mock glare. "I was expecting Jessie to pick you, not me."
"You should thank me." Jessie countered. "Joey was an average guy but as Josie you are smokin hot."
Josie waved her hands dismissively. "Flattery will get you nowhere."
"Well that's too bad," Jessie commented. "We wanted to make a deal."
"A deal?" She asked.
"Well Brad isn't exactly into guys, and I can't help notice that my taste has changed, so dating him isn't as appealing as it was. I'm guessing you went through a similar change in attraction when you went through the box." Jessie asked.
Josie gave a coy shrug. A girl had to be a little mysterious.
Jessie continued. "Seeing as I can't use the Bender Box for another month we decided to take a break."
Brad took up the conversation. "I'm encouraging Jessie to explore his masculine side and see what it has to offer. So, we will be dating other people, and since my girlfriend is becoming my best friend..." Brad gestured to Jessie. "I was wondering if my best friend would be interested in being my girlfriend."
Josie's face flushed bright red now. "What?"
"I'd like us to try dating." Brad repeated. "While Jessie is exploring what it's like to be a guy, I think you should see what it's like to be a girl. Specifically, one dating me." He took a step closer and started to lean in. Josie didn't stop him.
There was still a part of her that felt like Joey. That felt like a guy that didn't want to kiss another guy, especially his best friend. That part went silent the second their lips touched. Josie was fully in the driver's seat and she was very much enjoying the kiss.
Brad wrapped his arms around her, and she felt his hand glide down her back to grip her butt. She opened her mouth and let his tongue in. When the kiss finally broke up Brad smiled at her. "Is that a yes?"
She nodded slowly. "You think this will make it weird when we swap back?"
"I say we worry about that later. For now, let's see how the month goes."
Suddenly, Josie felt a tap on her shoulder. "Speaking of our month, I have a question about her." Jessie was pointing at Lucy who still had her new dog Felicia on a leash. "You think she is into guys now."
Josie thought about it. "As long as Lucille was, Derek will be straight as Lucy."
Jessie nodded. "I know Lucille liked guys so that's good. How long will she be a girl?"
"As long as she wants." Josie told him. "I can take Derek out and restore Lucille whenever. We didn't exactly agree on a time frame though."
Jessie nodded. "What about Felicia. How long does the changing cage keep people animals?"
Josie turned her attention to the cage. A girl in a maid outfit with cat ears and tail climbed into and did cut poses with her hands as mock paws. Her friends waved to her while a boy pulled the cord that raised the curtain. When he dropped it, a black cat replaced the girl. She realized she should make some way to get them back to normal.
She turned her attention to the Bender Box. Watching a new boy step out. He was dressed as a male wonder woman. He was gesturing for a guy dressed as superman to step in. He did reluctantly. As the maids turned it around and let the new super girl out, Josie thought about how she tied the Bender Box to the full moon so she went with that. "They turn back automatically on the new moon." Josie told him. "Like a werewolf but in reverse, you know?"
Jessie nodded. "You think Felicia would mind me seeing Lucy until then?"
"It's Felicia." Brad answered. "She wouldn't cheat on Derek, but she did once auction off a date with him to girls that didn't 'get it' when they started dating."
Josie used the ring to get a sense of Felicia's thoughts. "He's right." She commented. "I don't think she would mind, though she might be interested in a threesome when she reverts back to human."
Jessie looked at her. "You sure?"
"Call it woman's intuition." She told him with a wink.
Jessie nodded and went towards Lucy wearing a lecherous grin. Once alone Brad pointed at Rebecca's costume. "What are you going to do with that."
"I figure I could use it during act 2 of my performance. After cake and presents."
"And the piņata." Brad added pointing to wear the newly made piņata was hanging.
Josie nodded. "And the piņata." She confirmed. "Until then, let's kill a bit of time." Josie stood up on her toes to reach Brad's lips again and give him another kiss.
