"Well, you could switch to online school while you train. That's a thing kids do now, right?"
Tina was trying to think, but she's not very involved in Leah's school life. The teen was squirming uncomfortably in her mess, looking like she wanted to be anywhere but here.
"Sure, I guess we could say it's a medical emergency or something," Leah looks down at her horrifically soiled pants with devastating embarrassment, "It would technically not be a lie." She mumbled.
"There we go! Problem solved! Now all we have to do is..." Tina paused as she realized something: she can't just stay at home and watch over Leah's potty training, she has work. She could hire someone to watch over her, but 1) Leah would despise the idea and 2) There's no way Tina trusts someone with this situation, especially since it's her fault. If Tina couldn't be home to train Leah, then...
"...what are your thoughts on being registered into my daycare?"
Tina realized she said her thoughts out loud when Leah rolls her eyes.
"Har har, hilarious Tina."
"Oh, umm...I wasn't joking." Tina could already tell this conversation wasn't going to go well. Leah gawks, offense written across her face.
"Are you- No! Absolutely no! Why would you even suggest it?"
"Well, I can't stay home to watch over your training, so...it'd just make sense to bring you with me to work." Tina shrugs uneasily, "It's also a place literally designed to help people potty train."
"Yes, for toddlers! I'm 15, how's it going to look when I have the same troubles as them?!"
Tina secretly thought that Leah would actually be significantly less potty trained than basically every toddler, but decided that was better left unsaid.
"Look, Leah, if you want to get trained fast, you're going to need to be around me 24/7. Otherwise, you could be diapered for months."
"W-why? Can't I just keep track of it myself at home, away from everyone's eyes?"
"You could, but it wouldn't be as fast. Most toddlers still need some help getting to a toilet."
"To a what?"
"To a toi- huh?" Tina froze, and carefully observed Leah, "A toilet?"
Leah looked...legitimately confused, like she's never heard the word. Tina couldn't fight a grimace spreading across her face---when she told Leah to forget everything, she really did forget EVERYTHING.
"Leah, remember what a toilet is pretty please." Tina commanded, and could feel herself fill with dread when Leah's expression didn't change.
"Leah, you know what a toilet is."
"I...um..." Leah looked flustered, both out of confusion and concern, "S-should I know what that is, Tina? Cause I think this is the first time I've ever heard it."
Tina's jaw dropped---she was afraid her little stunt was long lasting, and now it was confirmed: Leah couldn't remember something once forgotten. She truly had a complete reset. This wasn't something Tina could hide, this was erasing major parts of Leah's memories.
"Leah, this isn't an ask, this is a demand. You will be attending my daycare so that I can repotty train you. Understood?"
Leah looked about to talk back before saying "Understood." She looked a little confused and angry at being so easily cowed, "But...If I'm going, I'm not going to be an attendee. I'm just going to hang out there, do my online schooling, and work on not shitting myself. Got it?"
Of course it wouldn't be that easy; any further commands, and she's definitely going to catch on.
"My job is watching kids, Leah---I can't just not do my job because you asked me to."
"Come ooon Tina, this is already bad enough! I really don't want to be the only teenager around who needs potty training."
"There's a possible solution to that...you don't have to come as a teenager."
The moment Tina said it, she regretted it.
"What do you mean by- wait, no! No way!"
"Yeah, I realized that was a bad idea but...you will be attending. Like it or not, Leah, you could pass as a toddler easily. That way, you won't be some teen in diapers, you'll just be another kid."
Leah opened her mouth, froze, then shut it with an angry pout.
"That's...a fair point actually." She grumbled, "So what, I dress and act the part to avoid embarrassment?"
"It would certainly help both of us, yes."
"I don't know...I really don't want the other workers to treat me like some toddler. Heck, I don't think I want toddlers to treat me like a toddler. Can I just...dress the part, but not be an attendee?"
"Well...you realize I'd have to tell the staff your age, right? They're not going to just ignore another toddler because I specified them to."
Leah let out another groan, looking truly miserable. Tina felt incredibly guilty, but knew the best thing to do now is to just keep moving forward and repotty train Leah as fast as possible.
"So you have a few choices. How do you want to do this?"
