Tonya smirked, as she looked over the room then back to Leah.
"Well, there's nothing saying we can't move a few things, right?"
Leah's sorrow melted away a bit, smiling despite herself.
"Are you sure you're fine with having a crib taking up space and a changing station stinking up your room?"
Tonya rolled her eyes, as if asking was ridiculous.
"I would set up a second crib in here to sleep next to you if I had one. Of course I don't mind. Honestly, I would be pretty upset if being a bit of a baby was all it took to ruin a sleepover."
Tonya face palmed at the same time Leah found her legs getting shaky, grabbing the crib to support herself.
"Be a big girl. Damn it, why do I keep saying stupid things? They just keep slipping out!"
"It's fine, I'm starting to think becoming more infantile is inevitable. Besides, we're alone and can reverse it, I don't mind being a bit of a baby. I'm already going to be sleeping in a crib. Honestly, this feels more like you're babysitting me then having a sleepover."
Tonya looks a little melancholy, but nods in agreement. They didn't like it, but at least they didn't have to hate it. Leah doesn't even want to think about what would happen if Tina found out.
"Hey, just cause you're in a crib doesn't mean it can't be a sleep over. Here, help me move this."
The two then spend the afternoon carefully moving the crib and changing table down the hall to Tonya's room, where they moved things around enough for space. The crib now sat parallel to Tonya's bed, with the changing table at the base. It was a bit squeezed for space, but such was to be expected. As they moved, casual conversation set a few triggers off, easily reversed but hard to keep track; Leah found herself mindlessly sucking her thumb as they looked over their work, and suddenly conscious of a need to pee. She plopped her thumb out and began to potty dance.
"Leah? Oh, do you need to pee-" Tonya tried to stop herself, but it was too late: Leah's bladder control feel away as she soaked her diaper. Leah let out a defeated sigh of relief, not even upset anymore.
"Damn it, why'd I say that?"
"It's fine, Tonya. I'm wearing a diaper specifically for this reason."
"That's still no excuse! That was an obvious one." Tonya gave out a heavy sigh as she slumped against the wall, "I don't know what else to do. I mean, any word I say can effect you, even when I'm trying to be careful."
Leah frowned. While grateful that Tonya is trying to be so considerate, she hated how hard she was being on herself for such minor mistakes.
"You know what Tonya? I'm starting to think getting upset by every trigger is just getting tedious and making conversation stilted. From now on, let's not worry about what we say. I'm going to get triggered one way or another, so there's no need to let that hinder communication."
"So what, just let you act like a baby?" Tonya shut her eyes tightly as Leah wobbled on her now unsteady legs.
"Waih, it fine! Wook, if it weawy bad, then you can jus weverse it." Leah warbled out as best she could with an uncooperative tongue. Tonya involuntarily smiled at the cute display before frowning again.
"So you want to stay like this?"
Leah tried to shrug but found letting go of the crib lead to immediately falling on her diapered butt. She pouted as Tonya let out a little snort.
"No, weverse this." She grumbled.
"Okay, big girl. So how should this work?"
Leah returned to her feet, appreciating her sense of balance that she usually took for granted.
"If I can't talk or communicate, or seem to be mentally indisposed, then reverse it. Otherwise, you don't have to unless I ask you to. I might as well get used to living with some of these triggers if we can't undo the hypnosis."
Tonya furrows her brow, unconvinced. "What if you can't talk or get my attention, and I get distracted? Should I just always be aware of you?"
Leah hadn't thought of that, tapping her chin.
"How about a signal? Like blinking twice, or blowing a raspberry? The point is, still reverse it, but don't feel like you need to avoid triggering it."
"Even if you're stuck as a baby for a bit?"
Leah fell back on her ass again, but noticed Tonya didn't cringe this time.
"Gu ba gah bubu bah." Leah pouted, but smiled when Tonya genuinely laughed.
"Be a big girl."
"Yeah, even if I'm a baby. Though do you have to say baby so often? It's starting to feel on purpose." Leah jabbed back, smiling so that Tonya knew she was only teasing. Tonya shrugged, only looking a little apologetic.
"Then I will be babysitting you all day, I hope you know that."
Leah grumbled, but nodded. She only hoped that this won't turn out terribly.
