Her brand new eyes glanced at the man's chest in an effort to see a name badge, and luckily for her, there was one, with gigantic block lettering, which read, "Luke." He caught her looking at his body and smirked to himself, making Jill blush. Had he thought she was checking him out? No, no time to think about that, she had better respond.
"Sure, of course," she giggled, planning to reveal all later, and make sure he was on her side.
"Great, what time do you want me to pick you up? Or hey, how about we each have a half day and go to the pub?" he asked.
"That sounds great," she giggled again. She wondered if he had noticed anything different about that way she was behaving, but he seemed fairly normal.
"I'll just get my coat, see you in ten minutes?" he asked.
"Yeah...sure," Jill said.

Ten minutes later she was sat in a smoke filled bar, but for a change when she inhaled she found the sensation slightly releaving. She supposed Jill was a smoker. She wasn't sat there for long when Luke came over to her and offered her a drink.
"Sure, can I have a pint of...sorry, can I have a double vodka and coke, please?" she asked.
She needed it.
"Of course you can, back in a moment," said Luke, smiling sweetly at her. She found it stangely disarming...but she had no time to think about that.
He finished buying the drikns and handed hers to her, which she drink from instantly, and at length.
"Woah, slow it down tiger," he said.
"If you'd had my day you'd understand," she said.
"Talk about it?" he asked.
"Give me an hour," she said, drinking more.
