Molly is an anthromorphic otter. Otter paws for feet, paw-like hands, otter head, otter tail, otter fur, the whole nine yards. Crazy.
Molly entered the room. Molly has been nude 24/7 since she became an anthropomorphic otter. You had her checked out by a vet (the hospital refused her) & they told you both she was apparently a mix of river and sea otter. You of course had moved in with her. Molly seems ok with being an anthromorphic otter. Molly's diet & how she eats has changed drastically. Molly mostly eats fish now; raw. Yes raw. She doesn't even use any utensils. She eats fish raw with her hands. It's weird. Matter of fact Molly was eating a raw fish as she entered the room. Molly finished her fish & told you she wanted to go to the gym. You said ok getting up. You knew she wanted to swim in their large pool. Molly hadn't been into swimming at all before but since she became an otter she couldn't get enough of being in the water. You again marveled at the elegant way she swam around seeming to be truly in her element. You two stayed until they kicked you because they were closing for the day.
A minutes later in the car...Molly something. "Do you know why I won't wear clothes? Why I haven't sense I became an otter?" You answered "No. No idea." Molly asked "Haven't you noticed?" "What?" you asked wondering. "Look at me. Don't you see it?" She said. You looked wondering what she was talking about. "What?" Molly sighed "Clearly you haven't noticed yet?" Puzzled you asked "Noticed what?" Molly sighed again "It has never stopped." Very puzzled you asked "What hasn't?" Molly answered "I won't wear clothes because I never stopped changing. I am still changing." "Still changing?" You asked puzzled. "I am still transforming into an otter." Molly said sighing. You informed her "You are already an otter." Molly looked at her lap sadly "I am still transforming." Hoping she wasn't saying what you thought she was saying you went to say but she cut you off "I am going to transform fully into an otter. I ultimately am going to fully regress into a feral otter." You slammed on the brakes & yelled in shocked disbelief "You sure?!" Molly sighed "Yes. I feel my body changing slowly all the time. It has never stopped. It's not my imagination. I'm surprised you haven't noticed." Not sure what to say from the shock Molly said "I'm surprised you haven't noticed that I've nearly shrank a full foot by now." Now that she mentioned it she did look shorter. Panicking now you yelled "We got to do something! Something to stop it!" Molly put a paw-like hand on your leg saying "There's nothing that can be done. You know this. Nothing either of us can do." Molly was right. Looked back ahead of you & you asked nearly in tears "How long you think you got Molly. It mean before..." Molly answered flexing her hands a bit "My hands are becoming more paws by the day. And I have been feeling my bones shifting. I suspect in a 10 days my hands will be nothing but front paws. And in 2 months I will fall to all fours as my body shifts fully to a quadruple state." "What then?" you asked. "I will essentially be a feral otter. I don't know if I'll be able to speak anymore. I suspect I will lose the ability to do." This was terrible news to you. Molly was completely losing her humanity. She was going to be nothing but a otter. Molly told you "I want to do all I can while I am still able to." Very worried you asked "Will you...remain you?" Molly answered after a pause "Yes." You knew by all the years you've known her that is the pause does when she isn't sure of something. That's the kinda pause Molly does when she gives an answer she isn't sure of. "Do... you... got..a list..." You asked nearly unable to speak do to how upset you are now. "Kinda." Molly answered.
Molly is going to end up nothing but an otter. A feral otter. And there is nothing you can do about it.
