The curse was a myth, a rumor between some people. It came up in whispers, notes passed between high school girls, writing on the bathroom wall at the local single's bar and the occasional mass e-mail sent out from an anonymous address. Most thought it was bullshit. After all, every town has a legend, right? This one just tended to be a little...unique.
After years passed, people seemed to forget about to curse, going extinct, or that was what everyone thought…
The curse was called the curse of the transformation bet, the name is self explanatory as it does what it says. Two or more people make a bet, but the result would transform the loser or winner (depending on the bet) into any way. It could be any physical or mental change in the person, anything you could imagine, from race, gender, age changes to even crazier ones like inanimate objects, body parts, making them part animal, and infinite more examples.
To cast the curse was simple, you just had to say to someone else “I dare you to a transformation bet” and set the conditions of the bet. It could be any game or challenge between the players but the curse still had some rules, the one who casted the curse has to set what would be the challenge and what would be the transformation of the loser and/or winner. In order to make the curse take effect, all the players challenged to the bet have to accept, if not, only the ones who accepted will be affected only. If a player surrenders they will have the transformation decided for the loser.
Fast forward to today, someone seemed to cast the curse once again in the town, unleashing the possible fun of chaos depending on the mind of the ones who play it.
