Sally and Ashley were the best cheerleader on there High-School. Everyone knew that one of them would be the next leader of the troop. They trained as hard as they could to be as better than the others as possible. While Sally was always ready to accept defeat, Ashley's resistance to using unfair means decreased day by day. One evening she was surfing the web and only by chance came across a forum that dealt with the supernatural and magic. Ashley has always had a slight fascination with this and read through a few posts. She came across a debate about a curse. He called "the transformation bet". Two or more people make a bet, but the result would transform the loser or winner. The explanation continued and below some discussed whether this curse was real. Some claimed they had tried it and uploaded pictures of the supposed transformation. However, some still did not believe it. When Ashley reached the end of the post, she thought that maybe this could be her solution. She knew about the possible consequences if the curse was real and she lost the bet, but it was worth it to her. And if the curse wasn't real, she could find out if she was better than Sally.
After the next cheerleading practice, Ashley invited Sally to a drink in the nearby cafe. Sally accepted gratefully and they both went to the cafe. While they both drank something, they talked about all sorts of things. Then Ashley asked Sally if she believed in magic and the supernatural. When Sally replied that she liked reading about myths and superstitions but didn't believe in them, Ashley saw her chance.
"If that's the case then," said Ashley "I dare you to a transformation bet."
Sally laughed. "You actually believe in this curse," she said, slightly mocking. "I didn't expect that. But well, I accept. What is the challenge and what would be the transformation"she asked with the belief that this curse was not real.
"I'm glad you accept," Ashley said happily. "Well, the challenge is actually quite simple." She pointed to two stones to sit on that could be seen in the park opposite. "We both stand on a stone each and when I say go we both lift one leg as high as we can. Whoever can keep their balance for as long as possible wins. About the transformation, I decided that the winner would receive magical powers with which he could transform the loser into anything at any time.
Still believing that the curse wasn't real, Sally accepted this and both went to the stones that Ashley pointed to. They both stood on them and Ashley gave the signal to start.
