Kellie was turning the steering wheel back at the home as the car was now going into the opposite direction of the beach.
"Mom. What about the beach?" Katie protested as her mother Kellie pushed more gas with the pedal.
"No beach today squirt. I shouldn't be driving the car in first place. So better to drive home before we get into someting serious." Kellie coughed and glanced at the rear mirror to see if any red-and-blue lighted cars were near by.
Katie felt betrayed and wished that her mother's driver's license picture was reflecting her current age. Prompting to tell her mother to look at the card again. Kellie once more took the driver's license and without a warning pressed the breaks.
"That god-damn wood-eye good-for-nothing clerk. Of course it's me in the picture. Clear as day." Kellie cursed as she aggressively backed to her previous slot where they've just left. "Wait for me as mommy's gonna get some beer and booze for herself."
Kellie slammed the door and stormed back at the liquor store. Katie begun to pump her fist in celebration as she watched her mother turning her Karen-mode on and hearing her angry rant echoing even to the backseat of the car. After a minute Kellie was bringing two plastic bags full of beer and booze to the car. Katie smiled as they could finally go to the beach together as mother and child without any worry.
