Oscar tossed and turned in his bed as his body fought what he thought was a very bad case of the flu, however in truth his body was fighting a new virus unknown to science. The virus would later be known as the furry virus and it would in time ravage the entire world but it started in this simple dorm room.
Oscar had never been the largest or strongest young man, he was closest to the stereotypical nerd. He was thin, lanky and had the type of face which would disappear into the background of any movie scene. He wasn’t a party goer and outside of maybe a half dozen parties his whole college social life was his D&D group and some video game parties he went to.
Right now partying was the last thing on his mind as he tossed and turned in his sleep.
His breathing became rapid and shallow as his body began to grow and change. His back arched off the bed as his hands gripped into the mattress. When that happened his hands started to bleed as his finger nails where forced out as new razor sharp claws came bursting out of each of his fingers cutting deep into the foam of the bed. His whole body began to rapidly grow, not just in height but in muscles. He had never had visible muscles but now he had more strength than the strongest human who ever lived.
Even with his new muscles he didn’t look like a body builder, he was still thin but now seamed to have the body of a swimmer but his muscles where now stronger and dancer then any other creature on earth.
His eyes shot open as he rolled out of bed and began to cough, as he cough blood flowed from his mouth as his human teeth fell out as new fangs came in. He arched his back again as his pants ripped apart as a long thin tail formed. The tail was long enough to touch the flood even when he was standing as orange, tan fur with black spots grew in. His shirt ripped apart as fur began to spread over his body.
Oscar should have screamed in pain and terror, but it felt too good. He felt more powerful than he ever imagined, he could feel strength he never had. He had always been bullied, not anymore. He could smell everything and hear everything; he could tell how many people were not only on his floor but on the floors above and below him. He was powerful and he was in the mood to eat and judging how his new larger animal member was standing firm he was in the mood to mate as well.
Orange/tan fur along with black spots began to spread over most of his body with lighter white fur on his chest. His short brown hair remained his face began to take on a more feline look, a short muzzle with whiskers growing out. His eyes became more focused as rounded ears came out the top of his head.
His body stopped hurting and now he felt only the power as he got to his feet, his head only a couple of inches away from the ceiling of the dorm room. He felt better then he ever had before, he was no longer that nerdy man, he was powerful Leopard man.
Now he needed to decide what to do next.
