As Lucy and Jennifer were sitting inside the bus. A ninth grader boy with glasses greeted them both behind their seats.
"Yo! Lucy. What's up with the twerp?" The boy laughed.
"Ha-ha, Kyle. She's my sister. Be nice to her, okay?" Lucy rolled her eyeballs as the boy came next to Lucy.
"Okay." The boy said and leaned closer to whisper. "Here's the bill in advance. So don't be late...
"Shit... Fuck... I forgo- Umm... Listen... I have to take care... Then again it's hundred bucks... gaah..." Lucy quietly panicked but Jennifer instead tugged Lucy's arm and said that she'll be fine.
"Are you sure? You won't tell mom that... I..." Lucy asked as the boy was still waiting for the answer. Jennifer shook her head and smiled that maybe Lucy should relax sometimes as she has her side.
"Okay. We meet at the usual time okay?" Lucy confirmed and boy gave the crumbled hundred dollar bill to Lucy who pocketed it.
"Thanks sis..." Lucy smiled as they arrived at the school.
The school day was boring and went pretty fast. During a lunch break Lucy asked if Jennifer would cover for her while she was busy at the gym room. Jennifer in other hand had more curious thoughts and wanted to confirm what they were going to do as she tip-toed behind her young aunt and witnessed how the boy and Lucy vanished behind gym hall's supply closet.
Jennifer walked back at the cafeteria and had lunch all by herself thinking that maybe their whole family was like this but Lucy wanted to be secretive about it. Then again she didn't care. She just wanted to day to end already. The rest of the school day was boring as she aced every test at third grade. She had no friends but she was there to just pass time because her mom had told her to go there.
At the end of the school day Lucy looked tired but happy. It seemed whatever they did inside that closet was a success and she got to release her pent up anger. Lucy's appearance reminded Jennifer of her previous choises whn she had accidentally got pregnant with Alex wayback when. Inside Jennifer's mind she wondered what were the chances of that happening to Lucy as well... That would be very unlikely to happen Jennifer laughed. The afternoon sun started to slowly set in the distance as both Lucy and Jennifer got off from the bus and walked to the front door hearing something happening inside.
