Damon fell though the air to land in a big lake of Circe's garden with a tremendous splash. The lake on one side was organized into basins meant for relaxation. Damon moved within his new elements a bit clumsily at first, unused to his new body and blinded by all the bubbles he had created. Fish darted away from him, upset by his noisy and sudden arrival.
Damon was surprised at how warm the water was. Or rather not cold. It simply felt... fine. He moved his new tail this way and that. He had to take the bearings of his new appearance and biology. The gills on his neck pulsed, providing him with all the oxygen he required. Sweet! And it felt so... natural. Damon swam with great ease through the water, marvelling at how piercing his sight now was. And his swimming skills had become amazingly good! Cool! Grinning widely, he started exploring his new kingdom.
He saw that the lake held many species of algae, but along with the fish, were all native to temperate countries. Damon could not know that Circe had a part of her extensive gardens dedicated to tropical climes. For now, he was perfectly happy looking at the trouts, salmons and pikes staring at their new neighbor. Quickly, Damon got a hang of his new aquatic body and soon he was leaping out of the water, laughing and creating temporary rainbows as the droplets hit sunbeams. The young man was loving his new life and he could not wait what else he would be discovering.
