Jennifer woke up from the familiar looking bed and saw the room looked pretty much untouched. She felt happy as the prank call had bell always that. A prank call.
Still, a lingering feeling was surrounding Jennifer. She was 4'10, had almost a flat chest and looked like a high-school freshman than a senior. All the posters, pictures and rest were at their normal places but one picture in particular intriqued Jennifer. There was a family photo with her, her mother and an old man. Jennifer heard two firm knocks on her room's door as the old man from the picture looked at Jennifer. He wore glasses, had a fishstick like moustache and a short neat brown hair.
"Morning Jen. Ru- I mean your mother wanted to ask if you wanted so eggs with your toast?" The man asked as she slided behind the door.
He looked and acted friendly. He didn't give any dad vibes but had an aura that something wasn't adding up. Jennifer didn't bother to ask but instead agreed that they sounded wonderful. To which the man smiled and without saying or doing anything closed the door. Who was this man anyway. Jennifer remember living with her mother together without anyone living with them. Was he... There was no way that he was her stepdad. Why would her mom even consider an another guy as she... Something wasn't adding up. Her mom had told her that she had met her father before Jennifer was born. They've met when they were college seniors and her mother didn't mention anything else to her. She had no clue if her biological father was alive or not as her mom never talked about him.
Now this could only mean that if Jennifer was here, standing in her own bedroom, and there was an another man living with them. Something had happened in her mother's past fifteen years ago. But what was it? Jennifer begun to fear that maybe the curse was real and she had just made her mother four years younger. She remember that her mother celebrated her 40th birthday few or couple years ago as it was big celebration at the house but if she was now getting younger it was more than likely that she was NOW in forty-years-old mother.
