While Angela was getting used to her new life as a princess, or rather trying to painfully adjust to it, notably as a damned parrot was mocking her with gusto, Circe was going to get a few newcomers. Three, in fact. Three thieves that, at the sight of the opulent domain of the sorceress, could only think about all of the loot that that could garner and seize for themselves. So they waited for the night to fall and crept through the gardens and stepped into the wide hall. Little did they know they were actually awaited. In fact, Circe had known since their arrival their every gesture and conversation. Nothing had escaped her notice, or rather, the animals that worked for her. Thus she had known all along what they conspired to do. All her subjects had been instructed to not harm the trespassers. She merely wanted to save them for herself. Yes, punishing them would be incredible fun. She loved humiliating thieves through her transformations and spells and these ones would be no exception.
So when the thieves - named Joe, Tony and Al - entered the hall, they jumped as blazing torches sprang into life and a lady dressed in a dashing dress and golden jewels appeared in front of her. She snapped her fingers and thick ropes appeared around them and they were left upon the ground, surrounded by bears, big cats and wolves. Big fierce animals that could tear them to shreds in one second, or with one command of the sorceress.
"So you wished to rob me," severely said Circe. "And I hate thieves. You were stupid enough not to think that I would know of your intentions as soon as you stepped inside my realm. Now... What transformation would suit you best?"
Circe smiled evilly at that thought. She was going to toy with them with utter joy and well-thought inventiveness. All here knew that Circe's ideas for thieves were wicked and most fun to watch. Eric and Damon were perched on a beam themselves, delighted at the entertaining show about to unfold.
