On the first senior high school year Jennifer was regarded as the nicest student of them all. A girl who was humble, beautiful and didn't show any signs of rudeness to anyone. Jennifer smiled, like a devil, she had learned how to manipulate others to think that she was nice. Deep down the rude Jennifer had grown into more devilish and delicate. Rather than saying the rudeness she had in her head out loud Jennifer became more passive and virtuous. Jennifer saw people as chess pieces who needed a little bit convincing by saying the right words to them. Avoiding conflict when necessary and telling with crocodile tears how sorry she was. The curse didn't care if she lied or not. It only cared if the other people forgave her. She had used her mother as a measurement how much she can push the bill until it made her younger. Jennifer wore glasses to appear more innocent and smart even if the lenses were just plastic and she had gained more social skills. Masking her true feelings with a fake happy smile.
Her besties were Jennifer's right and left arms that did her dirty work. Like two flying monkeys igniting gossips and putting more fuel on fire when Jennifer needed it. They had formed the niceness triangle as a small group they appeared all nice but deep down to their cores they were unredeemable bitches. They didn't find themselves offensive as they talked with each other. Jennifer had even tried to call her right hand woman an ugly bitch which didn't trigger the curse as it was intended as a funny jab between their friend group.
The time had come. Jennifer invited her besties to a sleepover and told about the curse that she had placed on her mother. Asking from both of them a sisterhood. A bond that none of them would break as the curse had the power of a genie to grant any wish.
Jasmine, a blonde cheerleader girl didn't need convincing as she saw their friendship as enough proof. Jennifer saw her as a reliable and possibly even gullible girl who wouldn't betray her as she was planning to use her to swap the curse between themselves. The other girl Julia, a brunetter was more chaotic as she was able to gaslight teachers to be on her side. Jennifer had a bit rivarly with Julia as a mouthpiece what ever Jennifer came up with. Julia wasn't a bright girl but had that theatrical flare to craft a good story whenever she needed one. Jennifer explained to them both that she needed them to form a small team. All of them would scratch each other backs if they wanted help and they wouldn't be able to say no. Jasmine was fully supporting the idea while Julia was trying to negotiate the terms. Jasmine thankfully was always siding with Jennifer which made Julia to just accept the rules Jennifer had made for them.
Lastly as their mother walked to the room. Jennifer had told the girls to invite Ruby to play the 'transform or dare' game with them. Ruby reluctantly joined for an one session and like script Julia told that once Ruby was chosen she should pick Jennifer as the target so they could continue the game. Adding that if she chose dare she should just make her drink glass of water or something. And just like that, Jennifer had the curse back at her possession. It had worked like how she had planned. Everything was going according to her plan.
