Transform or Dare?

The timeline that shouldn't exist

added 23 days ago AR S Reality alteration

The whole day went by so fast. Mary tried searching Sylvia outside and found her when the sun had set in the distance. Sylvia didn't even look at her own daughter as she was escorted to her room. Mary hadn't seen her daughter in that kind of condition in years. Grandma Mary tried to strike up a conversation with Jennifer who didn't look too good either. Even if she tried to be friendly, Jennifer rejected her. Mary thought that maybe tomorrow things would be better if they just slept over the night. Jennifer walked to her bed thinking how much she had failed. She tried so hard to act nice but couldn't as she had cracked like an eggshell. Jennifer hoped and prayed that the next day wouldn't be what she was expecting it to be as she fell asleep on top of the cloth pile inside the bathroom.

Jennifer found herself sleeping on top of the lukewarm bathroom towel. No t-shirts or clothes in sight. The whole bathroom including the door was heavily worn down and used. Jennifer climbed on top of the toilet took a look at herself at the mirror. She was amazed how different she looked. It was like if she was a different person entirely. She had some of her features but half of her face looked different. From the mirror's cracked reflection she saw that she had gotten younger. She had also gotten shorter, thinking if she was even four feet tall, as she had to tip-toe on top of the toilet to see her body from the mirror. She couldn't tell how young she had gotten this time but assumed it was only by one year.

Jennifer felt woozy and dizzy the more she kept starting at herself from the mirror's reflection. She had to cut it short as she had gotten the necessary information to make a plan. Slowly ascending down from the toilet to the floor. But something felt different this time. It was like she had slided through the rocky mountain slope into the deep end of the bedrock. Could things go even lower than that? How many feet she had left? Jennifer's dizziness took over her thinking. She had to sit down on top the thin towel which was her new bed. Gasping for breath as she felt weaker than yesterday. Jennifer imagined that it must have been because of her jump to the past. Still having the scene freshly stored in her memory where she poured the milk straight on top her poor mother's head spilling it all over her body. Luckily even if she had to sit down on the cold bathroom floor she was still wearing a warm oversized black hoodie. It meant that someone still cared about her even if it had a weird aroma in it and it looked like something Sylvia or Mary wouldn't wear.

Jennifer still wanted to try and fix her situation by being extra careful. Believing that she had the willpower to bounce back up and just endure a minor setback she had caused. It didn't matter what the curse was throwing at him. Jennifer's last rays of hope were dimmed the moment the bathroom door was opened and she saw...
