There didn’t seem to be any customers or even employees around. Seizing this opportunity, Amy walked into an aisle full of diapers that were in her size. As she glanced the packaging, she was amazed at how much variety there was. Every combination of color, thickness, and absorbency seemed to be in stock. The girl’s eyes landed on a package of thick, green diapers that advertised being extra absorbent. Amy ran her hand against the package’s cardboard.
“Hiya,” a woman suddenly greeted from behind Amy.
“Eek!” the girl squealed and jumped.
She accidentally pulled the pack off the shelf and went tumbling to the floor with it.
“Are you okay?” the woman looked down at Amy.
She donned a light pink apron with the store’s logo, and her jet black hair was done up in a bob.
“Sorry,” the girl stood up and apologized.
“It’s okay,” the woman assured, “I just saw you looking to buy and thought I’d come over.”
“Wait, I wasn’t gonna buy these,” Amy informed.
The woman asked, “Really? It’s not proper to touch what won’t buy, you know.”
“Sorry for that too,” the girl apologized once more, though more quietly, “I was just curious since I wanted to try something new…”
“Wait, you want to try something new?” the woman perked up, “I think I have just the experience for you.”
Amy’s eyes widened. She followed closely behind the woman out of the aisle. The woman went behind the cash register.
“Are you allowed to do that?” Amy asked.
The woman chuckled and replied, “But of course. It’s my shop after all.”
“Really?” the girl gasped, “So then you’re Miss Luna.”
Miss Luna nodded.
“I’ve run this store for a few years now,” she explained, “It’s mostly been diaper sales keeping it going but to people like you, I offer special services.”
“What services?” Amy asked, bouncing slightly.
“Well…”
