As Amy browsed, she saw a few other baby things, but it was mostly diapers being on shelves. Oh, thee were a few other doors, but all said "Private" and she knew better than to open them.
"Can I help you?" said a voice.
Amy jumped but she calmed down at once when shew saw that the person in front of her was a chubby oldish woman in a a large dress and wearing an apron too. She had small round glasses too.
"Oh... I... I came to... I mean..." stammered the teen.
"Just to look, I assume?" smiled the woman. "You seem too young to bear children, dearie. So browse as you will. My name is Miss Sunshine. Come to me for anything, dearie."
She then left, leaving Amy to browse indeed. But what Amy did not know was that Miss Sunshine was a witch and that she had access to the Fae Realm. And the fae had fertility issues. They always had. Luckily for them, some witches could transform humans into fae and get them adopted. And luckily for witches, as the fae paid well. In fact, a few poor hapless mortals had already fallen victims to the witch and were all in cages or baskets in the backrooms, sleeping, now fae creatures all of them and ready to be sold to expecting fae families. This girl would do nicely. Very nicely indeed. That was the witch's thoughts as she turned on a magical incense. Amy inhaled a nice smell of lemon, summer fields and dry grass. She was then incapable of stopping herself from wanting to curl up in a soft blanket while sipping warm milk. She wanted sweets, cuddles and plushies and dolls. The teen forget her new desires brought on by puberty and was on the floor, curled up and sucking her thumb, sleeping soundly. Miss Sunshine smiled. Perfect! Now, what should she transform this girl into? What fae appearance would suit her best? What would bring the most joy to a fay family expecting a child? What age should she be? And what would bring Miss Sunshine the heftiest price?
