By the end of the day, Henry had asked both Bill and Jaden if they’d like to hang out on the weekend, the boys accepted the invitation, but were confused to why Henry wanted them to bring their pets Rocky and Rex with them, “I’ll explain when you arrive,” is all Henry says, “trust me, it’ll be worth it and we’ll have lots of fun!”
The days pass and on Friday evening Jaden and Bill both accompany Henry home, as they enter Henry’s room, and after Henry had put Kain in his terrarium, he turns to Bill and Jaden, “okay, I promised to explain everything to you,” he says, he then goes on to explain to the two boys the idea and everything about the app.
Both Bill, who is 11, and has short brown hair, pale skin and green eyes, and Jaden, who has short blond hair, blue eyes and light brown skin, both boys bodies are athletic, widen their eyes.
“Sounds scary and dangerous,” Bill says.
“Yeah, what if something were to go wrong,” Jaden asks.
Henry rolls his eyes, “nothing will go wrong,” he says, “look at Jeff, he’s totally comfortable as a snake, besides, he’ll transform back after next week’s over”.
“Well, if you say so,” the boys say.
“Actually, I am rather curious what it would be like being a lizard,” Bill says.
“And I always wondered what it would be like being a snake,” Jaden says.
Both boys look at their pets, then back at Henry, “and you say, Rocky and Rex wish to experience being humans?”
Henry nods, smiling, “here are the ideas I have,” he says, “either I’ll use the app to switch your bodies with the bodies of your pets, so Rocky would be Jaden and Rex would be Bill, while you two would take the place of the pet”.
“Hmm… interesting,” the boys say, “what other options are there?”
“I could use the app to transform Rocky and Rex into human kids our age, and you two into a snake and a lizard”.
“I like that idea,” Bill says.
“What else,” Jaden asks.
“That would be all the options,” Henry says.
“And how long would we be transformed or swapped,” Bill asks.
“I thought the last week of show and tell,” Henry says.
“So we’d be reptiles and take the “job” of being the pet, while Rex and Rocky would be our “owners”,” the boys ask.
“Yep,” Henry says.
Jaden and Bill look at each other, “what do you think,” Bill asks.
“I think a week is long enough,” Jaden says.
“And if you and your pets should want to spend longer as humans and reptiles, it’s easy to chage the duration of the changes,” Henry says.
“Sounds good,” the boys say.
Henry smiles, “so, what should it be? Shall I transform you and Bill into reptiles, while Rex and Rocky become humans, or do you simply want to swap bodies?”
