Laurence's eyes widened with excitement as the wizard explained his plan. "Really? You can do that?" Laurence asked, bouncing up and down in his squatting position.
The wizard nodded. "Yes, really. But, I must warn you, once I make this change, it will be permanent. You will be a baby forever, in diapers and all."
Laurence thought about this for a moment. He looked down at his diaper and then back up at the wizard. "I want to be a girl!" he exclaimed.
The wizard raised an eyebrow. "A girl? But, you just said you wanted to be a boy and stay in diapers."
Laurence nodded enthusiastically. "I do! But, I want to be a baby girl. And I want my best friend Kaitlyn to be my new mommy!"
The wizard looked puzzled. "I see. Well, I suppose I can try to make that happen. But, it's going to be a bit more complicated than just making you a permanent baby."
Laurence looked up at the wizard with big, hopeful eyes. "Can you please, please, please make me a baby girl and make Kaitlyn my mommy?"
The wizard sighed. "Very well. But, you must understand that this is a very complex spell, and there's no guarantee that it will work."
Laurence nodded eagerly. "I understand! Please, just try!"
The wizard nodded and began to chant in a low, mysterious voice. Laurence felt a strange sensation wash over him, like his body was being turned inside out.
When the wizard finished the spell, Laurence looked down at himself and gasped in amazement. He was now a baby girl, dressed in a yellow onesie and diapers.
Laura looked up at the wizard and smiled. "Baaa!" she exclaimed.
But, just as Laura was about to ask the wizard about Kaitlyn, the door to the magic shop burst open and Kaitlyn herself walked in.
"Laura! Oh my goodness, how did you get here baby?" Kaitlyn exclaimed, rushing over to Laura.
Laura looked up at Kaitlyn and smiled. "Mommy!" she exclaimed.
Kaitlyn immediately took baby Laura out of the magic shop. "Don't you ever leave mommy's side again, okay baby?"
