Laurence's face turned red with rage. "You can't be serious! I didn't ask for any of this! I hate being a lawyer, I hate being married, and I definitely hate being in diapers!"
The wizard held up his hands, a calming smile on his face. "Okay, okay, I get it. I'll turn you back to the way you were before."
Laurence's eyes lit up with hope. "Really? You'll fix everything?"
The wizard nodded. "Of course. Just close your eyes and—"
Laurence didn't even let the wizard finish. He closed his eyes, and a bright light enveloped him. When the light faded, Laura opened her eyes to find herself in a completely new and unfamiliar environment.
She looked down at herself and gasped. She was no longer a grown man, but a 2-year-old toddler girl, wearing nothing but a diaper.
Laura’s eyes widened in horror as she looked around. She was in a cozy living room, surrounded by toys and baby gear. But what really caught her attention was the sign on the wall: "Miss Emma's Home Daycare for Girls".
A gentle voice spoke from behind her. "Welcome, little one! I'm Miss Emma. You must be our new addition, Laura."
Laura turned to face Miss Emma, a kind-looking woman with a warm smile. But Laura's eyes were filled with tears and confusion.
"Where...where am I?" she stuttered. "I don't understand what's happening!"
Miss Emma's expression turned sympathetic. "Don't worry, sweetie. You're safe now. You're just going to stay with me."
At that moment, Miss Emma proceeded to leave to attend to other important matters. Meanwhile, Laura stood still, not knowing how to react to this situation. Before long, Laura saw Miss Emma bringing other children into the living room. The remarkable thing about this is that they were all girls. Not a single boy in sight. Most of them seemed to be her age, some were younger than her and very few looked older than her.
