The girl's phone rang. She answered it. While she was talking, Dan took the opportunity to grab the clothes that had been removed for her marathon diaper usage. They hadn't fully disappeared, but rather teleported a few feet away. She pulled them on and clipped her badge to the front. Then, she bent into a squat and peed without really thinking about it. She winced as she felt her diaper grow warm. Hopefully that muscle memory didn't stick around when she was back to normal.
By the time Dan looked at the girl again, she was gone. The toddler let another spurt of pee into her diaper in a panic. Where did she go?
Dan left the diaper aisle to wander into the store as a whole. Where she promptly came across a co-worker, Eliza. Eliza did a double-take.
"Wait. That badge. Dan?"
"Some girl made me test diapers," Dan mumbled. Eliza laughed.
"Don't worry, we've all been there. The teenagers like to take advantage of the app. Do you know where she went?"
"No..."
"Well, you'd better figure it out. If you don't get her to turn you back before she leaves, you'll need to wait for a different customer to do so. And you can't ask them, they have to want to do it on their own."
Dan broke into a sweat.
"Can you help me?"
"I'd love to, but I can't. I'm helping a different customer." Eliza patted Dan's head. "Good luck!" Eliza walked away.
Dan made a beeline for the registers. Hopefully, the girl and her mom were going to check out there, and she could intercept them. At least the girl only gave her the potty training and body of a toddler girl. Dan could still move quickly and talk normally. She walked fast through the aisles, hoping to find the girl before it was too late.
