When the puff of smoke finally cleared, a big fat green and brown toad stood where Prince Damon was before. The sorcerer smiled and nodded appreciatively. He then bent down swiftly to pick up Damon, who croaked pitifully and made feeble jerks of his now short limbs as sole retaliation. The man set Damon in a big jar with a lid punched with holes and placed said jar in his bag. He then walked in a relaxed fashion back to his large stone house. All the while he could hear Damon jumping erratically and croaking again and again in a pitiful attempt of being understood. The house was full of books and magical ingredients. The man in his robes set the jar containing the prince upon a very large table and he stoked his fire ion the chimney.
Damon gulped worriedly. He'd barely had time to understand what had happened to him! He remembered being in front of this strange man and next thing he knew there was smoke in his face and right after, the forest and man loomed over him as if everything had become gigantic! He attempted screaming but only a weird croak decided to burst out of of his mouth. No intelligible sound could be heard from him! And then a giant hand had grabbed him and he'd seen how puny his limbs and fingers were. And how his belly was bulging and yellow. Much to his dismay, Damon was forced to admit he was now a frog. No, not a frog. A toad! A warty big fat toad! He kept jumping against the glass. What did this evil man want with him? Did he plan targeting his crew? Because he had to warn them, toad or not toad! Somehow, he just HAD to get out of here, hopping if he had to!
That was the moment the sorcerer turned away from his hearth and approached Damon. The poor toad gulped rather audibly. What was the nasty warlock about to do to him?
