[June's viewpoint]
June had calmed down considerably by the time Ty had returned from the kitchen. Her body was still frozen in place in the position where she was swinging her arm to backhand him across the face, but he was no longer standing before her. She felt silly being stuck uselessly in that pose, as a testament to just how angry she'd been with him, only minutes before. Now she felt Ty and Mark's eyes upon her, and wanted to shrivel up of embarrassment.
Ty turned to her and said, "June, I hope you have calmed down enough to talk. You can move your head now. If I give you back full control, will you sit down with us and try to talk things through?" June was eager to have control of her body back, and to be able to talk again. She nodded her head vigorously.
"You might want to support her," he suggested to Mark. "I'd do it myself, but under the circumstances, she'd probably prefer your support." June nodded again as Mark stood, walked to her, and held her immobile body in her arms. "Here goes," Ty said, and released her. She collapsed into Mark's arms, sobbing quietly.
Mark helped her to the sofa, where they sat down, Mark still holding ber. Ty gave them a minute, then spoke softly. "I'm sorry I had to do that to you, June. I hope you believe me when I say that I don't want to hurt you. Any of you." June looked to Ty and nodded, still silent.
She picked up a glass and took a sip of water, Just being able to sit down with her husband and do something as routine as sipping water was really helping restore her sense of normalcy, and calm her further. "Thank you for the water, Ty."
"De nada," he replied.
June considered what she'd just been through. What Mark had been through, perhaps even worse. And glancing at her still-froaen son, what Dustin was going through. "Ty, please release my son. My other son," she quietly asked.
"I'll do that soon," Ty told. "I promise. He's a little hot-headed at times, though."
"You're right about that," June agreed. "Perhaps he inherited some of that from Mark. And to be honest, maybe some from me as well."
"I think he may need more help calming down. Maybe before i fully release him, you should talk to him a bit. I could go back to the kitchen if you'd like some privacy. Would you do that for me, please," Ty asked her.
June nodded, and said, "Yes, Thank you, Ty."
