Josh waited until Anna had filled in the form before he intervened. Once Carolyn had logged Anna’s name into the system he pulled his mind into the white space and manipulated the computer system. He changed the date on Anna’s application to 2 years earlier, jumping her from position 913, to top of the list. He also changed Carolyn’s memory of the last 20 minutes.
“Can I help you sir?” Asked Carolyn “Is everything satisfactory with your room?”
Anna gave a gasp of shock. She was unaware that Josh had manipulated Carolyn. Josh gave Anna a wink to let her know that he had the situation under control.
“I’m very happy with my room. But we are here for another reason. Anna has an interview for your vacant concierge position”
“Oh! I didn’t know we had a vacancy” Carolyn seemed confused. She began to check her computer.
“I think you will see that Anna has an interview with Mr Armstrong in 5 minutes” Josh had determined that a Mr Cameron Armstrong was the General Manager of the resort.
“Yes…. I see now….” Carolyn had apparently found details of a job interview on her screen “Uumm…. I will take your resume and let Mr Armstrong know you are here”
Anna raised her eyebrows as she did not have a resume with her. But Josh gave her another wink to try and reassure her, before temporarily retreating to his white space.
Anna was shocked to see her attire was suddenly changed. She was now wearing an elegant skirt suit and held a leather folder in her hand. She opened the folder to see multiple copies of a resume in her own name.
Carolyn seemed oblivious to Anna’s costume change. She took a resume and suggested Anna take a seat on a sofa whilst disappearing into a back room.
Anna had time to ask Josh “How did you do all this?”
“With my VIP powers of course. Don’t worry I’ll ensure you get the job”
“I would feel more comfortable if you could restore my body to my normal size”
“Of coarse”
By the time Anna looked down she was slim once more. She did not notice that she still had enlarged breasts.
Carolyn returned and invited Anna to follow her. Josh let Anna go by herself, confident she was a shoe in. He returned to the activity desk to browse the brochures while waiting for Anna.
