Jeff took a deep breath and looked up at his mother with big, innocent eyes. "I just wanted a break, mom. Being a teenager can be really stressful, and I thought it would be fun to be a kid again for a little while."
His mother smiled warmly and gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze. "That's okay, sweetie. You deserve a break. Now, why don't you go ahead and eat your dinner while I go check on something?"
Jeff nodded and climbed up into his booster seat, feeling a bit relieved that his mom wasn't mad at him. He began to eat his dinner, savoring the taste of the spaghetti and meatballs.
A few minutes later, his mom returned to the kitchen, but something was different. Jeff's eyes widened in surprise as he took in his mom's new appearance. She was no longer an adult, but a tiny 2-year-old toddler girl, wearing a colorful onesie and a diaper. Jeff's mom, now in her toddler form, looked up at him with a big smile on her face and said in baby talk, "Wowwie, Jeffy! Mommy wuv being wittle!"
Jeff's eyes were still wide with surprise, but he couldn't help but giggle at his mom's silly antics. "Mom, what happened to you?" he asked, still trying to wrap his head around the situation. His mom, still speaking in baby talk, confessed, "Mommy was curiowous, and Mommy wanted to be wittle too!"
Jeff couldn't help but laugh at his mom's adorable baby talk. He looked around near the dining table and noticed a high chair. His mom, still babbling away in baby talk, pointed to the high chair and said, "Ooh ooh! Mommy needs hep! Jeffy, can you pwease help get into high chair?"
Jeff grinned and nodded, happy to help his mom. He climbed down from his booster seat and walked over to the high chair, where he carefully lifted his mom up and placed her in the seat. His mom squealed with delight and started babbling away again, happy to be sitting in her new high chair.
