Ty locked his bedroom door, and made sure his one-way soundproofing was still in place. "I'm ready for our..." Ty said, raising his hands then making air quotes, "school homework."
Lisa rolled her eyes. "I wasn't lying to your dad," she said. "That wasn't a euphemism. I really do want to get some homework done now."
"Really?" Ty asked, with a look of incredulity.
"Yes," she confirmed, "and I want your help!"
"My help? Why would you need my help? We don't even have the same classes!"
"Your _help_," she replied, "like when you 'helped' write a report on Peru."
Ty's eyes bulged. "You want to do _that_ again?"
"Yes, just on my own phone. I have to write a report for Geography. I certainly can do it on my own, but as an app I can do it much more quickly. And that leaves more time for us."
Ty said, still surprised, "I know we discussed it, and you said 'maybe again someday', but after that near disaster, I didn't think that 'someday' would arrive so soon, if ever."
"Well, we know you can transform me back, and you know that you have permanent consent to transform me back to human form, no matter what I say in an altered form. So it seems safe, and practical."
"And you want to do this right now?", he asked.
"As good a time as any," she replied. "May as well get it over with. Here's my phone." She handed him the phone, and told him the unlock code.
"Fine," he said. She disappeared, and her phone, in his hand, beeped. He unlocked the phone, and clicked on the "new app installed" notification. The Lisa Assistant app opened. He saw her, looking exactly as she had moments ago in his room.
"How can I help you," she asked. Ty shuddered, thinking about how distressed he had been when he last heard her say that.
