You quickly finish your dinner and get ready for bed. After realizing how screwed you were, you didn’t have much of a desire to do anything else.
Once you finish brushing your teeth, you walk to your bedroom and flop on to your bed. You stick your head under your pillow and pretend to suffocate yourself in an effort to make yourself forget about everything.
It doesn’t work.
“I think you need to come up for air at some point,” a deep voice says and you lift your pillow to see Chandler looking at you with a thin smile on his face. “What’s wrong?”
“I guess I got so wrapped up in this magic ring and collar stuff that I didn’t really plan on what to do after it. Now I have no way to go back to my old life,” you say and let out another groan of frustration.
Chandler sits on your bed and scratches the back of his neck in an awkward manner. “Sorry, that’s my fault. I should’ve turned you back to normal before making you take off the collar.”
“Eh, it’s no big deal. We both got wrapped up in this magic stuff,” you tell him nonchalantly.
“Yeah, but I still feel guilty. That’s why I’m going to help you find a way out of work and a way back to normal tomorrow. It’s the least I can do,” Chandler says.
“Thanks.” You hold out your hand and he takes it, giving it a light squeeze. With Chandler around, you felt that maybe things weren’t as hopeless as they felt.

You step off the subway and hope anyone didn’t question your odd choice of pants. After you had been unable to find anything to fit you, Chandler had asked your neighbors for some spare clothing. The only thing you were able to get in your size was a pair of swim trunks.
You were still wearing the same pajamas you had worn last night only now with the swim trunks and a small hoodie that Chandler had had in his closet that was still too big for you. Along with the much too big sneakers you were wearing, you looked ridiculous. You didn’t care though. Once you got to the Magic Shop, everything would be fixed.
Chandler had helped you convince your job that you were sick this morning and after using the ring to alter reality, nobody questioned Chandler’s new appearance. You offered Chandler to turn him back to normal, but he refused. He said he wanted to try out his new body on the go. Whatever that meant. Regardless, with all that taken care of, you found yourself leaving the apartment this morning in hope of finding something to turn you back to normal.
As you make your way downtown and toward the direction of the store, you notice…
