With St. Patrick's Day also being the first Monday of Spring Break, there was plenty of fun to be had, and different kinds of luck to be found.

For a case of a mixed bag of luck, Marcella's first of the four punishments started today: she had to find her way through a dimly lit maze ran by the GGAC, while also completely naked except for pasties. Before she entered, she was told by the GGAC that she'd have to be careful, or she'd be dropped into a bad fate. Occasionally, she'd encounter a jump scare in a dead end.
Eventually, she saw the end of the maze, but a few inches before the exit, the floor crumbled beneath her, and she slid down a slimy slide into a small swimming pool filled with warm, soapy water. When she resurfaced, the first thing she saw was Nzynga with her 'punishment implements'.
"Oh, no..." Said Marcella as she tried to shrink into the water.
Elsewhere...
"Is this really part of Animalia's punishment system?" asked Mr. Ed (who framed Chrissy and Marcella's catfight as a 'would-be domestic terror attack'), as he and Ms. Lynx watched Nzynga begin giving Marcella a firm scrubbing and a "matriarchal" improving lecture at the same time from the "relative safety" of a one-way mirror.
"It certainly seems to help." said Ms. Lynx as she reviewed the previous records of those who underwent the four-punishment system while Nzynga's lecture was played through speakers ("Oh, don't grimace like a goblin. You need this.").

While Ao Guang Island's Spring Break party wasn't as wild as, say, the Winter Weight Watcher party, but it still was fun. However, one unexpected guest was Professor Nova. When asked why, she gave a really head-shaking answer: she believed that the Silent Grove was on the edge of a 'secret alien base' and thus was caught in the base's 'stealth field' and was going to 'investigate'. Even the Japanese, Chinese, and Korean authorities were left shaking their heads at this, even though they still couldn't figure out why technology stopped working inside the Silent Grove.

Of course, one of the better things about St. Patrick's Day was the 'themed' party at the Meat Market in Lyre/Animalia, including female Animalians wearing shamrock pasties, and green beer. Chrissy was still wiping tables and waitressing there, but she saw plenty of amusing things and was better prepared for unexpected gropes and goosings.

Another case of unusual luck came after Mary's conversion. After she began her gym classes, she was bitten by the workout bug. Hard. Because she began recording workout videos, including a few PG-13+ ones locked securely behind the Premium wall of the Animalia Website. Because of this, new plans were put on the drawing board for an Animalia Colony in Iowa, though whether there would be a strip club and/or casino there was still up for debate.
