Savannah was frankly thrilled not to be head of Occ Ops anymore, because President Santis was proving to be a handful. She was falling for a series of occult charlatans who supposedly knew the way to restore manhood, a prospect that excited the President as much as it bored Savannah. Kendra was the current Occ Ops Presidential liason, and the stress was beginning to get to her. The President dressed in a masculine way that wasn't so much "butch" as it was "serious Great Change Denial" and it was driving Kendra's fashion sense crazy on top of everything else. Savannah, by contrast, was enjoying the high-flying, not dealing with politicians lifestyle of a sorceress supreme, usually with Katerina at her side--the Black Widow was phasing out of ROSS in favor of being Savannah's assistant sorceress supreme and girlfriend. Right now the two were snuggling on a warm beach in a pocket dimension they had found.
Hermione was loving being a mom. Her daughter Hyla was the light of her life, the joy of her existence and the ultimate evidence of her full and joyous embrace of womanhood. Emily and Nancy were happy to have a baby half-sister while Lydia (human Lydia, not defunct demon princess Lydia) found herself in the unaccustomed role of non-birthing parent, or, as some referred to it, dad-mom.
Ex-President Rodham was feeling a certain shameful pleasure in what a mess Santis was making of things. It was nice for every third person you met to be telling you they wished you were still President. Sometimes, Rodham even wondered if the country would be better off with Drumf.
