You dive into the water with a smile on your face, if you didn’t know better this seamed right out of one of the romantic comedy movies. You meet the love of your life on a random beach and just hit it off to the point that everything just felt right. You hadn’t know him for more than a few hours but everything felt perfect and right.
Then as you enter the water something weird begins to happen, it was like something was pulling you out to sea, more and more. Out into deeper and deeper water, your head breaks the surface only to realize how far off the beach you had someone gotten.
“We should turn back.” You say
“Forgive me for this.” Said Alex as he placed his hand on your chest a blush crossing your cheeks then you notice a strange glow, an impossible glow.
“What the?” you say as suddenly you are pulled under the water, a tunnel of water forms around you as you are pulled out to sea faster than anything possible. Your eyes widen, even as the saltwater stings them as the man Alex is swimming beside you, however his legs are gone as a long merman tail moves gracefully behind him.
Just as your lungs are about to scream for air, you slam into something and felt something close around you are plunging into darkness. You try to go to the surface, and you do break the surface of what seams to be an air bubble in a massive clam shell.
“Sorry about this.” came Alex’s voice outside, it sounded really sorry and concerned. “See I am a merman and I only had a day on shore to find a mate, and the magic picked you.”
“What the hell!” you scream
“Don’t worry you will be ok, this is all part of the process of turning you into a merperson.” Explained Alex as the shell around you began to glow. “Your true soul, will come out and when you emerge either as a merman or mermaid you will get to spend the rest of your days with me in the sea.”
“WHAT, Let me out!” you scream as the water around you began to glow and you felt something was moments away from happening.
