Transform or Dare?

Humanity goes it's separate way.

added Yesterday A O Reality alteration

The teacher sauntered in, even his eyes couldn't be pulled away from Jennifer and the gang as he unapologetically stared at them. "Ok class, and others. Let's finish up where we left off."

Jennifer recoiled at the term, was she no longer considered apart of the class? Was it because she was in the exchange program? Yea that had to be it, she was just visiting the human world after all.

The teacher continued to prattle as Jennifer was lost in her own thoughts.

Suddenly a slam on her desk as she snapped too and looked up as the teacher stood infront of her. "Ok miss fox, would you mind telling us when you planned to join the discussion.?"

Jennifer gulped, "I, uh, didn't hear the question."

The teacher rolled his eyes as he spun around and began to walk back to the front of the class. "I have no idea why the school agreed to this idea, you can't teach a beastkin anything, they're basically savages." He threw up his hands is dismay.

Jennifer's jaw dropped, she would have never expected anyone, lest her own teacher say something so cruel. It wasn't her fault the humans were so smart. Jennifer's clothes began to ravel as they curled into a knot and disappeared, just as quickly a small flap of leathers appeared, covering her chest and her groin, an anklet of bones wrapped around her hind paw. Jennifer straightened her top as she scoffed, these humans and their precious brains and society. They live in these fancy buildings and think they're so great. There was just no way for their worlds to intersect.

The mood of the room changed as the teacher looked back at Jennifer, almost shocked, his mouth agasp. He jumped back in recoil after a second, as if his body was catching up to his mind, like he just saw a spider on his sleeve. "Agh! Beastkin!" he shouted, the whole room turned into an uproar as Jennifer, Emma and Alex all looked around scared and confused. "Jones, hand me that broom!" the teacher shouted as he caught it swiftly. "Go on! Get!" he yelled as he prodded and swung the broom.

The three began to jump around the class like wild animals, scared of the situation they had found themselves in. Eventually making for the door they bolted down the hallway as they all went in different directions.

Jennifer scurried to the a exit door and struggled to find a way to open it. "Blasted human contraptions." She muttered as she spun around to see if any humans were giving chase. As one turned the corner her eyes grew wide as she shoved herself against the door again, pressing the bar to open the door. Jennifer fell out onto the floor as she began to bolt across the yard, only stopping when she had reached the treeline.

Why would I even think about going to the human city. Jennifer shook her head in thought. The village is not going to like this. Jennifer moved deftly through the forest back home. The beastkin were always at odds with humans, no wonder, they treated them like dumb animals. It's why they stayed in their cities, and we stay in the forests. Jennifer nodded to herself in agreement as she crawled through a small burrow.
